Poetry can make people sad
Or it can make people happy
Seeing people react to poetry is a poets dream
Making others feel glad
Making others all sappy
Maing poetry is a lot harder than it might seem
Writing a story takes time and thought
It makes people feel like their watching someones life
Making the author feel like a god
Poetry although short it makes the writers mind feel frought
Making rhymes and ideas pop quickly causes great strife
And those poems that took hours don't even get awed
Next time a person is struggling with their poetry
Make sure you tell them that they might be great
And everyone dosn't notice or care that they feel like poultry
Because you can tell when a great poem cannot wait
