Watching the Show: Miss in Kiss

Episode 1

Yue-qin's POV

I wake up slowly and find myself in a dark theater sitting on the same beanbag as Zhi-shu, who is checking his surroundings too. I also find Ah-jin, Mei-mei, Xiao-sen, Zi-yu, Zhong-chuan, Panpan, Chun shui, Dong Liu (my dad), Xu teng, and Yu Shu here. What is happening?

Suddenly, a dark girl with curly black hair and black eyes appears in front of us.

"I'm sure you're all very confused. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jade. I come from a different universe, one where your lives are a tv show called Miss in Kiss. I have brought you here today to watch your show so you guys can react to it and see the whole romantic story of Jiang Zhi-shu and Xiang Yue-qin. Any questions?"

Our lives are a tv show? Oh no, they're all gonna see every embarrassing thing I've ever done. Oh no!

"So we'll get to see every single thing that's happened between Zhi-shu and Yue-qin since the beginning?" I hear Panpan pipe up.

"Yep. Shall we start at episode one?"

My POV

Episode 1
Lunar tree: Aaaaah, it's that time of year again.

Mei-mei: The Old Lunar Tree can talk?

Zhi-shu: Yep.

Yue-qin: How do you know that?

Me: You'll see.

Lunar tree: Look at all these young people hanging around under the tree's shade. Every year, on this day, they come to tie a red string of fate and pray for success in love. Many years ago, I crossed the seas to arrive here at this spot. It has been more than 100 years. I wonder where it all started. I wonder when people began calling me the Old Lunar Tree. Being constantly surrounded by couples in love, I have yet to feel the signs of old age. But wait. Something seems to be happening. It's a proposal. I'm getting a strong hunch. It's a feeling I've never had before. Who is it? Which girl is it? (Shows Yue-qin) Is it you? The luckiest girl in the whole world.

Yue-qin: The Old Lunar Tree called me the luckiest girl in the world? I am far from lucky.

Xiao-sen: And isn't this right before you got rejected by Zhi-shu?

Zi-yu: I've always wanted to know how you confessed to him. You got rejected?

Zhi-shu: Of course. I rejected everyone. Including you.

Panpan: But ultimately you didn't reject Yue-qin.

Me: At first I thought he would accept your proposal when the Lunar Tree called you the lucking girl in the world. I was surprised when he rejected you immediately.

Bystander: She's proposing!

Yue-qin: (Holds out a small piece of paper and bows while smiling.)

Zhi-shu: No thanks.

Panpan: Zhi-shu!

Zhi-shu: What? I did that with everyone. Back then, to me, she wasn't anyone special, so why would I accept her proposal?

Yue-qin: I saw it coming too.

Random person 1: Check this out! A new update on the page. The clown from Class F got rejected by the genius from Class A.

Random person 2: Seriously?

Random person 1: The whole school is talking about it.

Rp2: She sure had a lot of guts.

Rp1: Jiang Zhi-shu is the man! Wow!

Rp3: That's sad.
