"Oh God! Look how thin you are! What have you done in the past months?"
"Eomma, I'm tired. Let me rest first, jebal." I said.
Hinaplos niya ang aking buhok. "Aren't you eating?
"Aniyo. I was living alone for the past months, Ma. Don't blame him. May sarili rin po siyang buhay."
She sighed. "You won't go back to the Philippines anymore! It's either you stay here or you go back in Korea!" nAg hihysterical na aniya.
"No. I don't want to go back in Korea! Halmeoni and Harabeoji hates me." sabi ko sa mahinang boses.
It's true. Halmeoni and Harabeoji hates me because I am a second child.
I walked out of the scene and sailed through my room. As I entered on it, I immediately scented the smell of a room that wasn't used for months. Even though it smells like that, my room is still clean. I am sure Eomma always make sure its clean.
"Eomma!" I yelled.
"Wae?!" rinig kong sigaw niya mula sa kusina. Maybe she is cooking?
Sinigang? Wieeeee!! My fave! Hehe.
Maingat akong lumapit sa kanya at yumakap sa kanyang likod. God, I missed my Mom.
"My sweet baby." she said and held my hand.
"I missed you, Ma. And of course your foods hehehe!" I sweetly said and hugged her more.
She chuckled. "Of course. And you will always miss me. By the way... ayos na ba kayo ng asawa mo?" pag iibang topic niya.
"I-i plan to make ayos with him, Eomma, b-but I think we need more space." pagsisinungaling ko. For sure. she would kill the hell out of him kapag nalaman niya ang kalokohan na ito.
She didn't even know that that marriage was only for a show and for my own selfish desire. Huminga ako ng malalim.
"Eomma, the sinigang is cooked already!" I said and fakely smiled.
For sure, it would be delicious.
"So...any events, baby?" paninimula ni Eomma.
"I have one." I said.
"What is it? Tsk tsk.
I nodded. "Next month."
Napatili naman siya. "Gosh! I should call my kumare right now! I'll tell her to rush your gown so that you can wear it next month!" she said excitingly. Gosh, Ma.
