"Meri zindagi mein toh aath saal pehle hi saare kaando ki shuruat ho chuki hai, isliye ab aadat pad gayi hai." She replied through gritted teeth and marched towards her i20 leaving him seething with anger.
(The damages in my life begun just after our marriage hence it stopped affecting me anymore.)

GANGA JAMUNA HOUSING SOCIETY
MAYUR VIHAR, NEW DELHI
She applied brakes as she parked her car in the society parking, next to her husband BMW. She already saw him rushing towards his parents' apartment and she wasted no time in following him after collecting her phone. As she entered inside of apartment she eyes with her mother who was probably waiting for her. Next, to her mother, her mother in law was seated with a grim face. She ignored her husband who was seated next to his mother going through the papers of divorce and fetched a glass of water for herself.
"Maa ab toh batao kya hua tha wahan. Kuch toh bataya hoga na Roohi ne."
(Maa will you care to tell me about the conversation happened between judge and Roohi?)
As soon as he saw his wife entering inside of the apartment, he nudged his mother to reply him.
"Roohi ne bola hai usko tum dono ke saath nahi rehne ka hai. She don't want to live with the set of the parents who are not ready to give there precious time to her." Madhvi Iyyer spoke in anger-filled voice, her face turned stern and hard, making the couple shock.
(Roohi expressed her desire not to stay with any one of you. She doesn't want to live with the set of the parents who are not ready to give there precious time to her.)
"What rubbish Amma? How can she say that?" Ishita yelled on her mother, still not ready to digest the fact that her daughter rejected to stay with her.
"Exactly. Aisa kaise keh sakti hai woh? Kahan hai woh?" The seething anger of him was enough to make scared everyone, the rest of the family chose to stay mum knowing well his anger will not last long.
(How can she say that? Where is she? I want to see her, now.)
"Khabardar meri bacchi ke paas jo tu gaya Raman. Bata rahi hoon tujhe. Door reh meri bacchi se." Santhosh pulled her son harshly through his arms and pushed him towards other side.
(Don't you dare to go near her Raman. You better stay away from my granddaughter.)
"Maa.."
"Nahi Raman. Ab nahi. Meri bacchi pe apna zor nahi chalayega tu." Santhosh shouted on her son, matching his pitch.
(No Raman, not anymore. I won't allow you to handle her in your aggressive ways.)
"Mummy Ji please mujhe baat karne dijiye aap Roohi se. Main baat karti hoon usse. Aise kaise woh kuch bhi keh sakti hai." A desperate Ishita spoke in cue, not ready to accept the defeat like her husband. She didn't have much anger issues like her husband but she is an impatient woman, a woman who is eager to do everything and probably can never be patient.
(Just allow her to talk with her Mummy Ji. This is simply inappropriate.)
"Yeh sab tumhari wajah se hi toh hua hai. Pehle hi baat karti toh aaj yeh din nahi dekhna padta." Ishita narrowed her brows hearing her husband words. She looked at him with disgust filled eyes and decided to ignore him for another time.
(This all happened because of you. If you would have convinced her before then nothing would have happened today.)
"Don't you dare to ignore me Ishita, in sab ke zimmedar tum hi ho. Ek Maa ho phir bhi tumhari beti tumhare paas nahi aana chahati. Don't you feel ashamed of yourself?" Ishita winced with the pain as the iron grip over her arm started to bother her. She pushed him using all her force making him stumble back.
