"It's not a joke, all right?" Lucas sighed. "It's public knowledge. You can ask anybody. Expect Will, because he is really sensitive about it. All right?"
"Okay," Max and I agreed to not asking Will and then we walked into class and Lucas followed.
Mr. Clarke had begun his class 5 minutes later; bloody sciences. I was half listening.
"The case of Phineas Gage is one of the great medical curiosities of all time." Mr. Clarke begins. "Phineas was a railroad worker in 1948 who had a nightmarish accident. A large iron rod was driven completely through his head. Phineas miraculously survived. He seemed fine. And Physically, yes, he was."
I couldn't help but stare at Will in curiosity. Not going to lie, the boy was cute. So, I leant back and watched the back of his head.
"But his injury resulted in a complete change to personality," Mr. Clarke continued. Will had obviously felt my stare and turned around slowly, I gave him a kind smile and he smiled back. "So much so that friends that knew him started referring to him as 'no longer gage'. At the time, this was known as the American Crowbar Case."
That's when the door bursts open and there was Dustin. "I am so sorry, Mr. Clarke." Dustin pants. "Really, I'm so sorry, please continue the class." He took his empty seat in where the boys were at. "Don't mind me. Really, continue, please."
"Although it wasn't a crowbar, it was a rod, as I said." Mr. Clarke continued.
Dustin had turned to his friends and whispered something, then turned to us; we were a few seats away and we leaned forward, listening. "AV Club. Lunch." Dustin whispered over at us and we nodded, Max and I gave each other side glance.
"Dustin!" Mr. Clarke called on.
"Yes, my lord?" Dustin replied and I rolled my eyes slightly.

"Focusing." Dustin turned to us. "AV Club." He says softly and we both gave him two thumbs up and he grinned before turning back around.
