Chapter 5

Mias POV:

I woke up the next morning at 7:30, then I realised it was Monday.

"Oh sh*t!", I cursed "I'll be late for work!" I said rubbing the sleep from my eyes and jumping out of bed.

I went for a super quick shower and changed into some jeans and fluffy burgundy jumper. I brushed through my long brown hair and as was still fairly straight I brushed it up into a high ponytail. I did my makeup very quickly and sprayed on some perfume, grabbed my IPhone and headed downstrairs.

I chucked a banana, a granola bar and a bottle of water into my handbag and quickly scrawled "Joe, I'm at work in lush today. Feel free to make yourself some brekky. I'll be back around 4:00. - M" on a sticky note and put it on the table for Joe.

I rushed out of the house and began speed walking along the street, across Brighton peer and along the street which lush was in.

I got there and the lovely smell of lush hit me as I walked in. "Hey!" I smiled to Katie, one of the other people that worked there. "Hiya!" She smiled.

I basically spent the whole day walking round the shop telling people about the different products and helping people choose things. At 4:00 the shop closed and I took off my lush uniform that was over my clothes and grabbed my bag and left.

I got back to my flat and opened the door. Joe was sitting on the living room sofa playing FIFA with Alfie and Marcus. I laughed at them about how concentrated on the game they were and didn't even notice me come in. I then walked into the kitchen to find Niomi sitting at the table editing a video on her laptop.

"Oh, hey Niomi!" I said.

"Hi Mia! Sorry we invaded your flat, Joe asked us round as you were at work." Niomi explained.

"Haha! It's fine, I don't mind!" I laughed.

"Okay. Zoe's coming round in a bit too. She's just on her way back from a meeting in London." Niomi said.

"Oh cool. Okay!" I said.

Niomi and I carried on talking as I started to make some dinner for everyone. Eventually it turned out to be a cooking with Niomi and Mia session which made us laugh a lot.

Eventually Zoe got here and we all sat and watched the TV until my phone started ringing. "Casper Lee calling..." It said on the screen. Casper was another YouTuber who was close friends with Joe, Alfie, Marcus, Jim and all the other YouTube boys. But why was he calling me?
