FINAL CHAPTER
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Death isn't how everyone makes it out to be. It's peaceful yet bleak. It's not sad. The sad part is the people who miss you. Or in your case, the person who holds your lifeless body in their arms. Shaking.
Sobbing. Screaming. Begging you to come back. Pain is inevitable. Loss is unavoidable. It's life.
Although, seeing your lover and your dead body is a bit depressing. Dean picked up your corpse, and brought it out behind the warehouse. And he disposed of it the same way every other honorable hunter has gone. He burned it. He was trying to stay strong, you could see that in his eyes. He broke down, he collapsed to the floor in tears and screams. Cursing every god and angel he could think of. Death stood by your side and he nodded, already knowing what you were about to request. You walked over to Dean, and knelt down, putting on hand on his shoulder. His sobs lessened for a second as he spun around, looking for the person who touched him. He looked right through you, like you were invisible. In a sense, you were, but he didn't know. He called your name, crying louder each time. You cupped his face in your hands, and kissed his forehead gently, just to say goodbye one more time. He threw his hands out and grab you, of course clawing at thin air.
"Goodbye Dean. I'll be waiting for you." You whispered quietly as you stepped back. You glanced back at the horseman, waiting to take you to Heaven. You followed him away from Dean, turning back one last time to see him doubled over. On the ground, head in his hands. It would be a long wait, but you looked forward to the day when he would join you. On that day, it would truly become heaven.
