It was the day of the wedding.

I hadn't seen William since that night, which was surprising.

I thought he would of come around by now.

Maybe I was right and this whole thing was just a joke.

It was hard to try and explain what happened to Corey.

He actually thought I was joking.

How would I even come up with that?

I woke up to the sound of Drake calling my name.

I opened my eyes; saw him standing by the bed with a grin on his face then closed them again.

Corey had spent the night with Drake because Drake insisted and wouldn't take no for a answer. Drake wanted to do something, since it was the night before the wedding but Corey's and his idea of fun were a little different.

When Drake suggested that they go to a strip club Corey's reaction was priceless, it was pure revulsion.

Though Drake did his best to convince him; Corey just got more pissed. It was very comical.

Drake hasn't learned yet that Corey can get annoyed very easily.

Or he has and he just doesn't care. Probably that one.

So I'm guessing they didn't do much last night.

I'd spent the night with Trey, Drake suggested he hang out with him and Corey but Trey declined.

Trey got along best with me and I wasn't too sure if Corey liked him. "Get up, Arabelle," Drake continued. "-Corey was much easier to get up. Though I think that was because he was already awake...anyways just get up!"

I opened my eyes and saw Trey passed out asleep beside me.

"Okay Drake," I said, interrupting his rant. "I'm awake."

"Good now I'm gonna go see what Corey's doing." I heard him walk out of the room. I sat up in my bed, I saw Trey start to stir.

His eyes opened slowly and he looked over at me. "Oh, good morning."

I smiled. "Good morning."

He sat up, yawning. "I don't remember falling asleep."

"Neither do I, it must have been when we were watching Titanic."

He nodded. "It can be quite boring. So are you excited?"

"Um, I don't know."

"Nervous?"

"Yeah. I'm not looking forward to the whole walking down the aisle with everyone looking at me thing."

He laughed softly.

I got up and brushed my teeth, the sounds of TV in the background. Afterwards, I walked back out to the room; Trey was sitting at the edge of the bed.

"You think Drake would be pissed if I went back to sleep?" I asked.

"Yeah," he replied. "-You should be all excited."

He popped one of the party poppers lying around and confetti shot out into the air. I laughed.

I heard a knock on the door and looked over, Corey was standing in the doorway with a small smile on his lips.

I walked over to him, not being able to help the smile that came onto my face. "How did you get away from Drake?"

"I told him to go get me coffee." He stated. "Not from this house, though."

"Oh," I laughed.

"So I've got about ten minutes until he gets back here."

Trey walked past us, out of the room. "I'm gonna get a shower, Bells. I'll see you in a little bit."

"Kay," I replied.

Corey closed the door. "So what did you do last night?"

"Nothing much. What about you?"

"I got another tattoo."

"Really? What's this one?"

He looked at me; puzzled. "I was drunk when I got it, so I'm not sure."

Well where is it?"

He thought for a moment then took off his black T-shirt. "There."

It was on his lower stomach, kind of to the side. It was the logo for the punk band 'Sex Pistols'.

"Oh so that's what I got. Cool." He said.

I laughed. "Are you gonna get a tattoo like every month or something?"

"Probably." He nodded, tossing the shirt on the bed.

He kissed me unexpectedly and passionately.

Surprised but happy, I kissed him back.

After a long minute had passed he pulled away and asked; "Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure, what is it?" I replied.

"Let me bite you."

I was surprised by his idea of a favor. "Why?"

"It'll help with the nerves, ya know?"

"Uhmm..." I trailed off.

He picked me up and placed me on the bed, getting on top of me.

"That wasn't a yes." I siad.

"Please?" He pleaded.

I thought for a moment. "No."

"Are you serious?" He replied, looking down at me wtih dismay.

"Yes."

He got off me, sitting on the edge of the bed. "I don't think I can do this."

"Do what?" I asked.

I sat next to him, noticing his hands were shaking slightly.

"The wedding." He stated.

"And you choose today to tell me that?"

He ran a hand through his hair.

"Are you saying you don't want to get married?" I questioned.

He nodded.

"Are you just nervous or do you seriously not want to?"

"Both." He replied.

I took a deep breath, not sure exactly what to say.

He looked at me. "Do you really want to be with me? I mean seriously, think about it. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with me?"

"...Yes."

"You hesitated."

"You told me to think about!"

"Shut up," he said. "I was right. I was always right."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm not meant to be with anyone. Its just the way it is. I can't love you. Not because vampires and humans aren't supposed to be together. Because I'm not supposed to be with anyone."

I stared at him. "Please tell me you're joking."

He stood up. "No. I'm probably the most obnoxious prick ever for doing this and you're going to hate me."

"What are you, like breaking up with me?" I asked cynically.

"You could say that, yeah."

"What the hell am I gonna tell everyone?"

"Whatever you want."

Drake walked in the room, not even bothering to knock. "There you are, here's your freaking coffee."

Corey took the cup from him. "Thanks."

Drake nodded. "Bells, shouldn't you be getting in the shower? You're moving really slow today."

I didn't respond.
