A/N Bedroom in Volturi

Duchess' POV

Gaining control again, I turn and walk over to the bed and flop on to it.

The bed dips beside me and I look up only to see Carlisle. Everyone else had left.

"I'm sorry Carlisle." I whisper.

"You have nothing to be sorry for Chess. I love you at the end of the day and I will protect you with my life. I will personally hunt down your mother and step-father and destroy them." He replies.

"Carlisle, Chessica was my only friend and they killed her right in front of me. Why did her soul attach itself to mine?"

"Because she wanted to be there to protect you in the future. She wanted you be believe in yourself and become stronger. She wanted you to live." His honey like voice traveled to my ears.

Grabbing the back of his neck, I brought his lips down onto mine.

Carlisle and I had been kissing for awhile when a bright light flashed.

Breaking apart from Carlisle, Alice and Rose stood holding a camera with Jasper and Emmett trying to drag them out o the room whilst apologizing profusely.

"It's fine guys, I mean we weren't do anything right Carlisle. Is anyone hungry? Nobody? I'm hungry. I fancy pizza and chips with a Fanta Grape." I ramble.

"Sweetheart your rambling." Carlisle whispered. 

Getting up, not answering him.

"I'm going for a shower and to get changed and then I'm going to go for my pizza. Yeah that sounds great." I mumble to myself.

"Aww, so cute!" Alice squealed.

"Alice leave it out. She's embarrassed." Rose spoke.

Aro, Marcus and Caius enter the room just as I walk into the closet to choose my outfit.

"What's happened?" Aro asked, always one for drama.

"Rose and Alice barged in on Carlisle and Chessica making out." Jasper answers.

"Where is she now?" Marcus asked just as I walked out of the closet and into the bathroom.

"She's going for a shower and then to get pizza." Emmett reply's to Marcus' question .
