Placed "1st Place" in Science Fiction for the 5th Annual Ohana Awards
CODES was/is a story that I fought a long time with, rewrote multiple times. This time, I finally feel like I've got it down, and this win makes me feel like all the hard work I've placed into this WIP has been very worth it.
1 what inspired you to write?
Books inspired me to write. Growing up, I spent a lot of time reading, because reading helped me escape reality. After a few years, I decided that I could write my own stories, my own books; places and characters to lose myself with.
2 what is a good piece of advice for a newcomer? ]
Only you can write your story! So, don't give up <3
3 who is your favorite author?
Stephen King and J.K. Rowling.
4 what's your favorite holiday and why?
I love Halloween, and if I went into why, this answer would be a book :P
5 what's your schedule regarding your writing?
I try to write early in the morning, or late at night. But usually, it's whenever it hits. Sundays are my solid writing days, because they're the one day out of the week where I don't have to "adult."
6 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?
"Rock Show" by Halestorm.
7 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?
Always! And they make me super happy, too! I like to say I aspire to be a ray of sunshine for people, so when a new reader/writer comes around, I want to welcome them, thank them, and toss confetti.
8 what's your dream vacation?

9 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?
Cake!!
10 what's your favorite snack?
Cheese. If paired with wine, its a plus <3

"The Talisman" by Stephen King and Peter Straub

"The Human Minority."It was my NaNoWriMo project last year. It means a lot to me, and every time I look at it, it reminds me that if I put my mind to something, I can do it! Just like the character in the story, Jake. He's got that mentality, too.And also, aliens, because they rock :P
