"What's taking them so long?" Irene whined, slumping her head alongside the desk. "I feel safer when Jin is here."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Shut up Irene, as long as that door stays shut, we're fine."
"But I'm hungry."
"You eat air anyways, just keep eating that." He fired back, earning a scowl from her. Hoseok sighed.
"Arguing won't get us anywhere. Jin and Jisoo said they'll be back soon."
"What if they were killed too?"
"I doubt it." Jennie turned to look at Yeri, who popped the question. "Jisoo is very smart. She knows what she's doing."
"I feel like I'm gonna' throw up." Lisa muttered. "I mean, this constant smell of rotting people and blood is getting to me. How many people did they even kill?"
"I don't want to know."
"Yeah," the blonde nodded hesitantly. "I don't want to either."
"I just hope they're alright." Taehyung sighed again. "Jin promised me he'd let me have a slice of his pizza."
"He has pizza?"
"Right," Taehyung laughed nervously. "he also made me promise not to remind you all about the pizza he brought in earlier today."
"Uniforms..." Jisoo turned back to a fumbling Seokjin, balancing several of the stacked high clothes in his arms.
"Jisoo, do we really need this many?"
"You never know." She huffed. "We head back to the classroom, and then all of us can move to the cafeteria."
"All of us? At once?" He followed behind her. "Jisoo I don't think—"
"I know it's not a good idea, but both of us can't keep going back and forth with smaller groups. It leaves the one at the cafeteria unattended, and even if we were to take the first group to the cafeteria and all the way back to the classroom safely...it wastes a lot of time."
She had a fair point.
"I don't think all of us will even make it to the cafeteria, in all honesty."
She nodded once, not wanting to think about that too much. She wasn't sure if Bobby was even alive still.
Right, Bobby. Despite him being her ex, she still had somewhat of a soft spot for him. She hadn't even gone to check if he was okay.
Well, she didn't even know what class he was in right now. Or if he was still there.
"Here," She tossed away a few of the clothes resting in Jin's arms. "let's go. And make it fast."
"You're gonna have to help me this time Jisoo. Walk in front."
"Oh wait." She snatched up a gym bag. "Let's stuff them in here."
Seokjin watched her wordlessly move about the locker room, and within a minute she was done—readjusting the bag onto his shoulder.
"There," Jisoo grinned. "Now we can go."
Jin switched the light off behind them, and once again they were back out into the empty halls. This time they saw more bodies slumped. And just like Chaeyoung's and their teacher's, each one had the same message written along the lines of 'stay indoors or you die'.
"This smell makes me sick."
"Then breathe through your mouth." He whispered near her ear. "That's what I'm doing."
"How much longer do you think until we run into our psychopath again?"
He quickened his walking pace. "I'd give it around a minute or two at most."
"Plenty of time." Jisoo sighed. "It would take us two to get back to class."
"Outside doors are bolted." Jin adjusted the bag strap on his shoulder. "If we stand near the door maybe we could get a signal from outside, and send a message for help."
"Nice job Kim." Jisoo smirked. "You're finally thinking like me."
"Oh please, I was born this smart."
She scoffed. "Yeah right, well you know what, I think that—"
Jin's eyes widened, clamping his hand over her mouth. He thought smart, and fast too. She felt him shut the storage door room behind her just as quick as he pushed the two of them inside.
Jisoo gasped. "They were there, weren't they?"
"I don't know." He whispered back. "B-But I felt someone would've seen us had I not listened to myself."
Jisoo exhaled. "...gosh, this makes me scared."
"Sh," Jin shushed, and just in the nick of time too. A hooded figure could be seen, walking slowly across the hall. A face couldn't be identified, but it definitely looked like a male.
That was even closer than the last time they almost run into that guy. Had they wasted another second, or even half a second, they could've been caught and killed.
"Listen, if it makes you feel any better, this is the closet that Jungkook and Chaeyoung got caught making out in."
"That's disgusting." She grumbled after a long moment. "Why would you bring that up now?"
"We could try it out—"
"Oh just shut up." She hissed, but even Jin could hear that she was trying not to laugh.
