Me and monie haven't talked in 2 months

My father been coming home more he said he's got a new job.

Which is fine by me I've missed my father.

Well it was the last day of school I saw monie and Mac talking but I couldn't build up the courage to talk to them.

I arrived home and saw a message from my father. I'll be coming home late today.

Oh well.

I play gta till I start to get hungry I go downstairs and make me a sandwich.

I hear a knock on the door I open it

It's Monie

Jakori- "what are you doing here?"

Monie- "it's over."

Jakori- "what's over."

Monie- "me and Ash we are done. She went back to jail. And she has life. I can claim you now."

Jakori- "monie really?"

Monie- "yes."

Jakori- "I don't know monie."

Monie- "it's okay I'll give you time to think."

She then walks away I close the door.

I don't know if I should do it I mean I love monie but she also didn't talk to me it was sad.

I soon hear heavy footsteps coming to the door.

Jakori- "hey dad"

Dad- "hey Jakori sorry I came home late I'll cook your favorite meal tonight."

Jakori- "it's cool dad. Not hungry anyways"

Dad- "oh okay. So how was your last day."

Jakori- "felt the same like any other  day"

Dad- "oh well since it's summer your best friend can come out here or you can go out there."

Jakori- "I would have to ask her."

Dad- "well you do that then. I need to rest my old man back."

I laugh while he walks to his room.

I pace around thinking about what monie said.

I can't even think about anything else she's on my mind. It's odd

I'm gonna take up her offer.

I head over to her house and knock on the door.

A woman opens it looks like a older version monie.

Jakori- "uh is monie home."

The woman calls out to monie and invites me in.

I stand close to the door. I see a boy and a girl run upstairs.

Monie finally comes down.

Monie- "you take up my offer?"

Jakori- "I did."

Monie- "your answer?"

Jakori- "yes you can claim me."

Monie picks me up and spins me around.

Jakori- "monie put me down."

Monie- I'm sorry

She puts me down and grabs me by the hand. Taking me into the kitchen

Monie- "mom I would like you to meet someone."

Her mother turns around to see me.

Monie- "this is jakori also know as my girlfriend."

Jakori- "nice to meet you ms."

Amy- "call me ms. Amy."

Monie- "you tryna stay for dinner?"

Jakori- "my dad is cooking."

Monie- "aw well I see you later then."

Monie grabs me by the throat and tongues me down.

Mac- "well so much for me getting a taste."

Monie- "yup."

Mac- "but I wanted this to be a 3- relationship to where we can keep it on the down low. And so when people walk up we could say nah we just homies."

Monie- "nigga you tweaking."

Mac- "I guess so."

Monie- "we ain't want your std infested strap."

Mac- "hey hey I boil my shit."
