Chapter Eight

Jeremy's POV

As Olivia's butler pulled his Hummer into my driveway, I could see my mom's worried self in the window.

"Thank you...uh..sorry I don't know your name."

He smiled at me. "It's Jeffrey. And no problem."

I closed the car door behind me and watched him drive off. I dreaded going in that house and having to have a lecture with my mother. I sighed and walked in the house.

"Jeremy Drew Causley!" my mom yelled. "I was worried sick about you! You should have at least called me and told me where you were!"

"I know mom. I'm really sorry." I said honestly.

"Where were you, anyway!?"

"At my friend, Olivia's house."

She gave me a small smile. "Ok. Did you have fun at least?"

I nodded. "Uh huh."

"Good. Don't let this happen again. Please." she said

"I wont. I promise." I said before pulling her into a hug. "I'm going to go to my room now."

As soon as I got in my room I checked my phone for a text message from Olivia. It read one new message. Read. I said to myself.

Olivia: Are you home ok?

Me: Yes. Mom was worried about me, but everything's good.

Olivia: Oh, I'm sorry I kept you over here too long

Me: No, it's all good.

Olivia: Was your dad mad?

I stared at that last message. I forgot to tell her he was dead, and I didn't want to do it over a text message, so I didn't respond back and just decided to go to bed. I stared at the ceiling for what seemed like days because I couldn't go to sleep. I heard my phone go off two times, and I knew it was from Olivia, but I would talk to her tomorrow. I finally was able to go to sleep at the thought of that

Olivia's POV

I couldn't sleep last night. I was trying to think if I had done anything wrong to Jeremy, and I couldn't think of anything. This automatically put me in a horrible mood. I wanted to look good today for him, after what happen today, so I straightened my hair, fixed my makeup to perfection, and put on my blue sweater-dress with white leggings. I actually was pulling off the dress look today.

"Hey, Olivia" Gavin greeted me.

"Hi," I said unenthusiastically

Gavin frowned. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I lied. "Don't worry about me." I said with a smile. "Get ready. We're leaving in five."

Gavin nodded before running back up to his room. I would ask Jeremy if he needed a ride, but he's obviously mad at me.

"Ready!" Gavin called.

"Ok. Bye Jeffrey!" I called from the living room.

I felt nervous seeing Jeremy today. I still didn't understand what I did that was so wrong...but a little confrontation never heard anyone.

"Hey, Jeremy..." I said nervously.

"Hi, Olivia." he said, rather nicely.

I was confused at this point. "Are you mad at me?"

Jeremy frowned. "How could I be mad at you?"

"You never texted me back...so I didn't know."

He gave me a weak smile. "I know. Sorry about that it's just that...my dad died of cancer when I was 11, 6 years ago."

I didn't know what to say. I felt awful that I brought him up when I had no idea that his dad was dead.

"I-I uh...I'm sorry. Didn't know.." I stammered.

"It's ok. Don't worry about it." he said before pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry you thought I was mad at you."

I smiled. "It's ok."

Jeremy suddenly looked nervous. "So I've been meaning to ask you something. I hope it's not too soon though.."

"What is it?" I asked

"Olivia...will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart skipped a beat. I gave him probably one of the biggest grins I've ever given someone. "I'd love to be your girlfriend."

Conner's POV

I wanted to throw up at the sight of Olivia and Jeremy hugging. Olivia deserved someone with money. Someone who could actually give her the things she deserved. This dork was so dead. He doesn't know what I'm capable of. A smiled suddenly etched across my face as I thought of the perfect plan to break these two up. Show her a picture of Jeremy's house and what she's getting herself into. Also, I needed to make her think he was only using her for her money. That would make her drop him, for sure. This was perfect. I'm going to give them another week to enjoy themselves, and then....It's all over.

~~Once again, more drama to come. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Thanks for reading, and please please VOTE AND COMMENT :)
