"Why did I have a fake mate?" I asked the Kolide "Damien,he sent him but was surprised when he found his mate" I nodded "what happened to Damien?" her eyebrows furrowed together "what do you mean? you killed him?" I shook my head "he transformed into a gold dust and faded away?" She laughed "No dear,you killed him" My face shows my confusion "no,I didn't" She shrugs "we saw it,maybe the moon goddess helped you" I sighed "when do I become apart of the council?" She shrugs "two weeks" I gape at her "that early?!" She nods "you and the other new members" I run my fingers through my hair "wow,I need to get home" I rush through the doors and to the pack doctor "yes Luna?" I rolled my eyes,since I've moved here with Carter everyone calls me Luna and it feels weird "It's Natilie,but I wanted to know if you could tell me if I'm pregnant" he nodded and ushered me into a little room
After a while he came back with the results "you have a heir" I smile brightly "Girl or boy?" He smiles but not quite to his eyes "a girl, actually two" I frown at him "why are you upset? so what if it's a girl? she will be our alpha female one day!" he flinches back "sorry Luna but if you happen to have a son he will be the heir" I growl "no! I command that no matter what that the twins will be the alpha females" he nods "yes Luna" I smile satisfied "Thank you Danny" he nods and I leave to tell Carter
Once I'm home I search for him "Carter?where are you?" I find him in his office "We need to talk" He turns to me with a smile on his face "yes?" I take his hands in mine and look into his eyes "I'm pregnant" He goes into complete shock mode and falls over backwards "Carter?" I slap his face softly "Girl or boy?" I smile "girl" he smiles a genuine one not like Danny's "she's not dating till she's 57" I laugh "What about her mate?" He laughs with me "I'm happy that things are back to normal" he says while rubbing circles in my back "me too" I say and kiss him gingerly on the lips "Mark" he whispers,I nod and he bites into my soft skin and at first it's painful but then turns into delight,once he's done I rush to the bathroom and look to see that the mark is a blue and pink moon with swirls inside it,in little green letters was N+C "wow" was all I managed to say "I'm such an artist" he teased and I rolled my eyes "I love you" He says as he grabs my waist and pulls me to him "I-I love you too" I kiss his cheek and he smiles, everything's back to normal
