Nineteen

It's the next morning. I woke up in bed with David still sleeping next to me. I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes and yawning to wake myself up faster. I turn to my side and tapped my phone screen, waking it. The time read 2:30 pm. How the hell did we end up sleeping in so late?

I sat my phone back down and turn to David, gently shaking his body.

"David. Wake up." I say.

"What?" He asks in his mornin voice.

Oh, how I love morning voice David.

"Wake up. We overslept." I chuckle.

"What? We did? What time is it?" He asks, turning his body to me.

"2:30." I reply to him.

"Fuck. I didn't want to sleep in so late. I knew I should've set up an alarm." He groans.

"Hey. We still have time." I chuckle. His eyes meet with mines and he smiles up at me.

"We do." He agrees. He's quick to pull me on top of him and we give each other a morning kiss. He locks his arms around me as if making sure I would never leave him.

"We have to get ready so we can venture around." He says.

"I still don't understand what that means." I chuckle.

"Like I said. You'll have to see." He answers. I cock an eyebrow at him and finally climbed off of him. David encouraged me to wear something comfy and nothing too fancy.

I rummaged through my suitcase and noticed David packed me simple, classy and fancy outfits. He really knows how to choose a girls outfit. Some girls would find it offensive because they think their boyfriend is controlling their wardrobe, but me? I found it completely fine.

"Is this okay?" I stepped out of the bathroom with jean shorts, a tube top and my black slip on vans.

"Yeah! Well. The shoes may not be comfy but yeah! That'll do." He says. I furrow my brows at him. He was literally wearing the same thing.

"David, you're wearing your vans." I chuckle. He looks down at his attire and falls shocked.

"Whoa! I didn't realize that." He says.

"Sure you didn't." I smile and walk back into the bathroom. After spending fifteen minutes in the bathroom I walk out to the living room and pull David off the bed. He wore something simple as I did, even though he wore this outfit and color almost everyday; black shirt, black shirt, black socks and black vans.

"Ready to go?" He asks.

"Been waiting on you." I say.

"Oh, you're hilarious." He squints his eyes at me before pulling me by my neck and kissing me.

We stepped outside and noticed a man waiting for us in the sand. David approaches the man and shakes hands with him.

"Excited guys?" The man asks. He was tall and tan and wore a straw hat to block the sun from his face.

"Hell yeah!" David cheers.

"The Mrs. doesn't seem so." The man chuckles looking at me.

"I have no clue what we're doing today. Right, hubby?" I ask, looking at David with a psychotic smile.

"Don't worry. Once you see what we're doing, you'll be really excited." The man chuckles and turns away.

"You caught onto that real quick." David chuckles looking at me.

"I didn't know we were married and on our honeymoon." I say.

"He just automatically assumed. He's the landlord of this house, Lauren. He's giving us a mini tour around the island." He chuckles.
