Kita walked around the missile and launcher the Air Force had delivered. "I'd hate to see what they consider big," she said to Ratchet.
The missile was eight feet long and the launcher four feet tall and about as wide. Along the missile were compartments containing Kita's virus. The missile ejected the compartments as it flew dispersing the virus over a wide area.
"Technically, it would fit in the back of an Air Force humvee," said Ratchet, "which was the specification you gave them."
"Even if you changed to humvees, we couldn't mount this to you."
"I would prefer you did not."
"Can you make a Transformer friendly launcher?"
Ratchet examined the system. "It appears to need an electrical signal to trigger the missile's launch and a guide system to direct it for its initial flight period. This launcher is mostly comprised of material to support the missile and aim it. Bumblebee and I can do that. It should not take long to turn this launcher into something we can use."
"Excellent. I'll tell Kimmy to send the warning order for the military exercise. We'll have twenty-four hours to get to Russia."
"Another long plane ride, my favorite. I need a recommendation for a new show."
What? Ratchet watches TV? "Ok. What do you like? I'll ask the other Angels. Did you ask Ryan?"
"I have finished watching all ten seasons of Friends. Ryan says he only watches Reality TV. I am not interested in shows about human reality."
Friends? Found it...a sit-com. "I will ask the others."
"Hurry. I would like to download as many episodes as possible before we leave."
"I'll get on it."
Kita left Ratchet's workbench to find Ryan. "Ok, girls, new mission. Ratchet wants a new show to watch. Something like Friends."
"He watched that?" said Nemesis. "No one watches Friends."
"No idea," said Apocalypse.
"I'll talk to him," said Nemesis. "I've got a few he might like."
"Thanks," said Kita. She found Ryan by the virus incubation tanks. "How are they?"
Ryan looked up from the viewing window. "Full. I can start filling the missiles any time."
"Good. You can start in a minute. First, I want you to talk to me."
Ryan looked surprised. "What did I do?"
"Nothing. I've been ignoring you, and I'm sorry. I don't like neglecting my friends."
"It's ok. I've been busy in the lab."
"I know, but I don't want you to be all work and no play. Come chat with me." Kita touched Ryan's shoulder and phased them on top of the building.
"That was incredible. How do you do it?"
"We shift dimensions, allowing us to pass through the normal dimension to a new location."
"What's the math behind it?"
Kita chuckled. "I'm willing to tell you and a lot more secrets. That's what's why I want to talk to you. Two things, actually. I know you declined once, but I wanted to offer you the basic Angel package again. You don't have to fight—you can do whatever you want. It's my gift to you for being my friend. You're free to do with it what you want. You can leave if you want to go pursue something else."
