Yeosang chewed on his bottom lip as he squinted at the recipe in front of him. Why did cooking have to be so complicated? All he wanted to do was make a nice dinner for his boyfriend to celebrate their one year anniversary, and he really didn't want to have to order something.
"Ok, this much of this. This much of that... Did I add that already?" Yeosang muttered to himself as he eyed everything out on the counter. He listed off the steps he had been through already and felt his heart sink. Something was missing, but he couldn't remember what.
He groaned and decided to add what he thought was missing. Salt. "You can never have enough salt, right...?"
As he continued to cook, he had to admit that things smelled good, so that had to be a good sign. His boyfriend was due home any time now, so he left the food to go get the dining table set, lighting several candles and putting on some soft music. He also set a present on the table that he had spent an hour trying to wrap perfectly.
When he went back into the kitchen to finish making dinner, he heard to door open and close. Then he smiled when a small pair of arms wrapped around his stomach and he felt several kisses being placed on his neck. "What's all this?" The sweet voice said.
Yeosang turned around to see the happy face of Wooyoung staring back at him. Without even thinking, he brought his arms up to wrap around the other's neck and pulled him into a kiss. "Happy anniversary, Youngie."
Wooyoung hummed into the kiss. "Happy anniversary. You didn't have to do all this." He said, looking around the kitchen.
"I know. But I wanted to." Yeosang smiled and pecked his lips one more time before turning back to the stove. "It's almost ready if you want to go change or anything."
Wooyoung responded by tightening his grip on the taller's stomach and placing his head on his shoulder. Yeosang smiled shyly and patted Wooyoung's hands.
When everything was finished, Yeosang served everything up and led the younger into the dining room. He paused when he saw the present on the table. "Sangie... I didn't get you anything. I didn't know we were doing this."
"I know, it was a last minute thing. It's really for both of us so don't worry about it. Let's eat first, then you can open it."
Wooyoung nodded and took a bite. He hummed immediately, eyes lighting up. "This is amazing!" He said, nodding his head up and down.
Yeosang felt his heart swell with pride.
Once they were finished, Wooyoung quickly cleared the table yelling that he would clean the kitchen since Yeosang cooked.
The older jumped up, "We can do that later!" He grabbed Wooyoung's hand and pulled him from the kitchen. "I want you to open this."
Wooyoung smiled at him and took the present, slowly tearing the paper. Inside was a picture frame. The photo was a collage of pictures the couple had taken together, both before and after they had started dating. He felt tears come to his eyes and immediately hugged Yeosang.
"It's perfect. Thank you."
Yeosang ran his hand through Wooyoung's hair and kissed his neck. "I love you." He kept planning kisses there and he felt Wooyoung tilt his head to the side, giving him more access.
Not breaking contact, the older took the picture and placed it on the table before slowly pushing Wooyoung toward their room. His kisses got harder as he sucked and nipped at the other's skin, causing him to whimper a little.
