The lake house was so beautiful. They had all arrived, and it was like no other sight for sore eyes. When Jungkook got out of the car, and looked up, he gasped silently, Taehyung just smirking. " This is where I come stay around this time, every year. "
Jungkook just rolled his eyes, and grabbed his bags from Taehyung, " yeah yeah, no need to rub it in asshat." He said smiling.
Taehyung shrugged, " honestly, you get tired of it. Sometimes I just want to go some place else. I feel like I know this area by heart, the whole place mapped out in my brain. "
" Wow. I don't know how you can get used to this. I mean look at it, it's beautiful. " Jungkook pointed to the view and the lake. Taehyung shrugged again, " find me something new...maybe I'll enjoy it. "
Jungkook just smirked. " Besides, if your tired of this place, why don't you just leave. " Jungkook walked up the steps leading to the house. He could hear the rest of his friends yelling and shouting, but right now he just wanted to explore the beautiful lake house with Taehyung.
Jungkook stood at the top of the stone steps, and looked at Taehyung, he held his hand down, " you coming with me? " Jungkook asked, a small smile plastered on his face. Taehyung nodded slowly, and locked his hands with Jungkook's. He pulled himself up the stairs and walked with Jungkook to the door.
To Jungkook, the place looked like a fairy tale. The platform was wooden, and you could hear Jungkook and Taehyung's soft footsteps. Over to the side, was a wooden table with matching chairs, perfect to have an outside dinner. On the edge of the platform was lanterns, that were already lit. " In case you're wondering, we have a housekeeper, that's why everything's already lit. "
" Oh....where is the housekeeper now?" Jungkook asked, turning to look at Taehyung. Taehyung walked over to Jungkook, " she already left, she leaves us alone when we all come to stay. " Jungkook nodded and just looked forward.
The house, however, was the most extravagant thing out of everything. There was no simple way to describe it, other than, woodsy and pure beauty, no, beauty was an understatement.
Jungkook gazed up at it. There was a small chimney, and the whole thing was glass and wood. There was glass panes running from top to bottom, and just simple wood panels. But it just looked beautiful. And Jungkook loved the homey vibe it radiated.
From the glass, you could already see the furniture, and Jungkook couldn't wait to get inside and experiment with almost everything.
The fairy lights running across the glass reflected on the glass, and brightened the dark area up. Yes, it was day, but nevertheless the area was dark because the amount of trees.
And that was the thing, the beautiful nature. The whole thing made Jungkook feel like he was on another planet. The contrast from the busy city life to this....was absolutely astonishing. It just took your breath away.
" Come on then, let's go in. " Taehyung practically dragged Jungkook in. Jungkook stumbled inside but caught himself in time. When he looked up, he felt that it was more surreal being inside the house than it was, being outside. The lights were setting off a bright orange glow, and the wood furniture just went so well with it.
" So where's all the rooms? " Jungkook asked, already wanting to claim the best room. Taehyung pointed to down the hallway, " all the rooms are right at the back. There used to be four rooms but we recently had renovations done, and we knocked down a wall. So in one of the rooms, you can fit four people. And then the rest, you can fit two. "
Jungkook just shrugged, " easy, I'll stay in the room of four, with Jin, Jimin and Irene. "
Jungkook went exploring around the house, with Taehyung following behind him. Jungkook was so surprised at everything he was seeing. Yes, it was just a house, but the architectural features were amazing.
