Jakori pov

 
I feel used. As if it wasn't meant to be.

Monie didn't care

Monie did what Monie probably does to everyone else.

And I was dumb enough to let her do it to me.

I take a shower and get ready for bed.

I'm just not gonna think about it. I think that's the best.

Soon it's time for school but I'm not gonna go.

I can't stand to look at Monie face.
I dismiss my alarm. And fall back asleep.

I wake up to knocks at my door. I go downstairs. And look through the hole it's Monie and Mac.

Jakori- "Go away!"

Mac- "Nigga why you miss school?"

Jakori- "Mac take your fat ass on somewhere."

I guess the door was unlocked and they walked in.

Monie can't even make eye contact with me.

Mac- "y'all being hella weird.."

Jakori- "Monie you ain't tell her what happened?"

She still avoids making eye contact with me 

Monie- "No, I didn't."

Mac-" y'all had sex?"

Monie- "what. H-how did you know?"

Mac- "Well I didn't but you confirmed it."

Monie sucks her teeth.

Mac- "But I don't see the problem here y'all had sex. So what?"

Monie- "it's not just a happy ending."

Mac- "why is that?"

Monie- "she is a virgin! Well not anymore."

Jakori- "because your horny ass took it and threw it somewhere."

Monie- "I did it to protect us."

Jakori- "What you mean us."

Monie- "Ash was going to hurt us. And I didn't want that."

Jakori- "So you went out and decided to hurt me?"

Monie- "I didn't want to trust and believe that. I just wanted to protect you. You don't know ash like i do."

I roll my eyes but look at Monie she looks like she's telling the truth,

Mac- "well just act like it ain't happen. Jakori cant get her virginity back. But you can  act like someone else took it."

Monie- "Mac just shut up."

Jakori- "yeah Mac you sound dumb."

Mac- "I'm just tryna help y'all.

Monie-  "Jakori. I'm sorry I would do anything to take it back."

Jakori- "I know you would monie but you can't."

Mac- "Well can y'all hug it out."

Monie puts out her arms and I come closer.
While we hug I feel warm. I don't know if she loves me but this hug feels more than using me.
Mac- "Well look at y'all. Can I get an invite?"
Monie- "Take your ass somewhere else"

We finally end the hug. They exit my house.

I walk back upstairs just for my phone to ring.

It's my mother.
