As Bottles Call My Name

Chapter 25

"Yes." she rolled her eyes.

"Come on Charles, really?"

She stood up from the bed. "Shu'up! Let's just go downstairs now, ok?" she said, opening the door, and waiting for us to follow.

"Do you guys have bathing suits?" Me and Charlotte nodded.

"No." Viki said, furrowing her brow.

"Well I have one you can borrow, hang on." so Mckenna left and came running back seconds later with an adorable bikini. "Here you are."

Viki smiled. "Thanks."

So we all got changed into bikinis and put t-shirts and shorts over them. I glanced at Charlotte, and she was grinning creepily at Viki. I, of course, knew why, but I think she was freaking Viki out.

We laughed and talked and slowly made our way downstairs. My stress kind of calmed as I walked and talked with my best friend and my new friends, because when you don't have a care in the world, even for just a night, you feel like you belong. And that's all I could ever ask for.

Charlotte and Mckenna went ahead and ran outside. Viki was about to follow them, but I touched her arm and stopped her.

"Don't freak out, Vik." I said, with a smirk.

She furrowed her brow. "What?"

"Nothing. Just when you go outside, make sure you don't freak out, okay?"

She nodded and reassured me that she wouldn't as we walked. I was doing my best to contain my laughter because she thought it was something serious... but in reality, I was just protecting her from making a total fool out of herself when she meets Avenged Sevenfold.

We walked through the kitchen and out the doorwall. I slid it closed behind me. The still, humid heat of a summer afternoon in Southern California hit me like a brick wall as I walked out the door. Luckily everyone was in the pool. I could see all the guys, including Jason Berry, Matt Berry, and Cameron Rackam. The girlfriends were there too, along with Charlotte and Viki. So there was a good amount of people in the pool.

But, the pool, was huge, and part of it went inside.

I grinned at Viki, and she furrowed her brow and continued to look around- trying to figure out why I told her to not freak out.

When we got to the pool, Matt turned around and smiled, walking over to the shallow part where we were standing in front of the stairs.

My gaze shot to Viki, you know, to see her reaction to M. Shadows coming toward us with his shirt off in the water.

She was turned around, taking off her shirt and shorts, and then she threw them to the ground and turned to face me. "We gonna swim?"

I smirked, and nodded toward the pool, then looked back at her. She glanced over at the pool, then looked back, then looked at the pool again. I guess she had to do a double take.

Matt started slowly walking up the pool stairs to us with a huge smile on his face. I chuckled as Viki shivered. I glanced at her and all the hairs on her body were standing up, accompanied by goosebumps and shivering, and a wide-open mouth.

She blinked a few times and a couple of weird noises came out of her mouth. Matt approached us and held out his hand for her to shake. When she finally did, she came to her senses.

"What's your name? You gonna introduce your friend, Meg?" Matt said, still smiling and dripping wet.

"Matt, this is Viki, and Viki, this is Matt."

Viki swallowed and said, "Yeah, I'm Viki... cool to meet you M. Sh- Matt."

Matt rolled his eyes playfully. "Ohhh, we got a fan over here. Hey guys! Get the fuck over here! We gotta fan!"

Viki nudged me and I smiled at her. "Megan.. you.. you didn't tell m-me.... Oh, God, oh God..... what do I do?! I'm freaking out here!"

I chuckled and said, "You'll get used to it."

I saw all the guys on there way toward us. And I have to admit, I was still completely fangirling in my head every time I even glanced at them. I was not used to it, at all.

Zacky was the first to come up. He ran his hand through his hair. "You are...?" he said.

"Viki!" She choked out. "My name is Viki. And you are Zacky."

A smile crept it's way onto Zacky's face. By this time, the rest of the guys were standing there smiling, laughing and talking, and staring at Viki.

"Matt, she's bright red. I think she needs a hug from your muscular, tattooed, dripping with watery body, dude."

Viki mini-choked. "Let's go man, give the pretty lady a hug."

Matt came walking over and had the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face. He approached Viki and gave her a huge bear hug. Her eyes were wide and her whole body was pretty pink from all the blushing.

Matt was still hugging her, then he picked her up bridal style and gave her a massive kiss on the cheek. Viki let out a pleasure sigh and Matt chuckled, setting her down lightly on the ground. I was laughing because all of the guys were clapping, and I thought it was really funny how they were already tormenting her.

The guys after that kind of scattered, and all of a sudden it wasn't so hot because the sun had sunk behind the house, so the backyard was shaded.

Viki inched closer to me. "Ohhhh myyyyyy...."

I smiled and looked at her. "Is he the one you like?"

"Uhm yes." she replied quickly. "Megan, these water droplets were on Matt's skin."

"His dimples!" she added quietly to herself.

I laughed and we both ran and jumped into the pool to join Mckenna and Charlotte. "Hey, Megan?" Viki said.

"Yep?" I responded.

"Where's Jimmy?"
