Ga young girl gets run over by a car due to saving a cat. As a token of gratitude, the cat reincarnates her as a tiny being. Now she and her feline friend venture off into the world with there companion Leon.
Third Person P.O.V In this world, there is evil. An infection that has overrun the earth. This evil was once small but had managed to grow in strength and number so rapidly, the earth had no defence. This evil has one name. A name is forbidden from the natural world. This evil is called "Humanity" Vai's P.O.V I hate this cat. This obnoxious, bratty cat. I save its life and this is how it repays me. He looks down at me, those green eyes shining brightly in contrast to his onyx fur. "Any words of thanks for my master who saved your life?". He held no emotion in those cold Emerald eyes. "... Why the fuck am I the size of a smurf?!?!" I yell at him. This was not how I planned my Saturday afternoon. ~an hour earlier~ Ah, summer vacation is finally out! Finally, I can spend the next four months free from the prison we call the school. I'm walking home from school, ready to my Saturday afternoon with wine, popcorn and Netflix. Saturday classes suck. You see, I live on an island smack bang in the middle of the Indian ocean. We call this island Atlantis, named after the mythical city under the sea. This island was found in the 19th century. A ship was caught in a storm on its way to southern Asia from Africa. The storm carried them southeast from their targeted destination, landing them stranded on Atlantis. The inhabitants of Atlantis welcomed the sailors with open arms, and still live in peace to this day. Scurrying out of school, I make my way to the top of the cliff near my school. I run past many students wearing the same white formal uniforms with matching red ties, all going down to their homes and families to celebrate another year of education and success. There was no one waiting for me though. I live alone and I like it that way. The only things I need is me and my island. I love my home with all my heart. What I love most of all though is the Feast of Souls. It is a day where all Atlantians Celebrate the beauty of life as well as the source of life- Zysdione Goddess of Souls. The festival happens on the first day of summer. School ends a week or so before the festival, which means I have a whole week of slacking! I smile slowly forms on my face. With this in mind, I speed up my pace. ~mini time skip~ Clenching my hands around the cool metal railing, I take a moment to appreciate the beauty around me.

Atlantis is covered in bright vegetation. Lush green ferns, fat palm leaves and a rainbow of flowers all the way down the hills and mountains. At the base, grass merges with sand dunes and beaches. Arches of sandstone bridge over a lagoon of crystal blue water. This is my favourite place. A perfect view of the place I call home. A heavy feeling takes over my heart. This view is the earliest memory I have. When I was ten, I woke up here. I had no memory of the past, I didn't even know my own name. All I knew is that something bad happened and I needed to escape. This was my safe place, still is. I just wish I could remember what happened that night. My phone started buzzing. Taking it out I see a message from my friend, Tamila. Tamila and I met at the hospital. When I was getting treated for the numerous injuries I gained that fateful night, Tamila was visiting her older brother that managed to break both legs and his left arm in less than a week.
Tamila: are you still up for ditching the blind date for the festival?
I sigh at this. I've been single for all my life and everyone I know is tired of it. My mother keeps telling me to give her grandchildren, my father keeps on asking me to bring a man home and my sister is always trying to hook me up with every guy on the island. I live with a Family of romantics. They've been on my case since I was twelve. That's why I moved out.
Vai: Yeah. I'll meet you at the usual spot.
Stuffing my phone in my bag, I turn back and head home.
~time skip~
I'm currently five minutes away from home, ready to just collapse on my bed and surrender to the dark void I call sleep. The streets are bustling with cars and trucks. Summer may not be here yet but the holidays are in full swing. How do people have so much energy on a Saturday? School only just ended today. with mild irritation, I turn to the crossing. When the lights went green I felt something pass between me. What happened next I don't remember well. one moment I'm looking at a small black cat running onto the road in shock, the next I'm mid-air, diving for the cat. The last thing I remember is the sound of screeching tires and a pair of shocked, red eyes.

Drip. Drip. Drip. The constant sound of droplets hitting the surface filled my ears. I stare at the endless inky sky above me, half submerged in a lake made of shimmering stars and galaxies. The sky is leaking. Midnight drops fall down and mingle with the swirling cosmos below. "You are quite a foolish human." I could hear the soft pitter-patter of footsteps coming towards me. I try to move my head around. Instantly an immense pain shot up from my back. " I wouldn't do that if I were you, " the voice hummed, "You are in no condition to move." The voice was cold and childish, with a lingering undertone of disgust. I was afraid. The footsteps were getting closer, and closer and closer. "Humans, such a disgraceful race. I would like nothing more than to just let your soul be carried off to the heavens." the footsteps came to a halt. Above me was a shadow. Wisps of black smoke flicking off its form. The shadow hat two frighteningly bright ruby eyes.cat-like slits glared down at me. Those emerald orbs were red ice and beneath it was a fire of a deeply rooted hatred. The shadow looked as though nothing would please it more than seeing me drown and perish in this endless sea of stars. "However, I am obliged to grant you one desire in thanks for saving my life. So human, what is your wish?" they asked. Thousands of thoughts were clouding my mind. What is this thing? Where am I? What is going on?! But there was one thing I knew. One thing I wanted more than anything. The words spilled out of my open mouth. "I wish for..."

Present And here I am looking up to an egotistical kitten and shrunk down to the size of a smurf. Well, this was an interesting Saturday.
