Athena Malkin was afraid. The day of September 1st had come and she stood outside the entrance for platform 9 and 3/4
holding her breath.
On the platform itself she could barley move a muscle , having to concentrate and force herself to make her feet move.
she boarded the train.
her dark brown hair brushing just above her elbows , she could feel the air fall silent.
she sucked a breath between her teeth. and continued aboard the hostile train.
Wandering eyes fell upon her as everyone seemed to notice her disheveled appearance. Color had barely returned to her face and she seemed frail in comparison to her once powerful stance.
News of her "Betrayal" had spread quickly.
Gryffindor eyes bore into her like knifes digging into her skin and before she could trip over all the stray feet leaning into her isle , She was dragged into a compartment by a quick arm.
Wren's Amber skin now held a light tan, coils of hair piled onto her small head in a messy updo. But her wide grin as she tackled her friend in a tight hug was exactly the same.
her light voice mumbled into the suddenly reminiscent Slytherin's shoulder.
"I Missed you so much"
the taller girl replied quietly
Lacie also joined the small pile , making the girls giggle and straighten themselves out.
Wren told many stories of her travels in the Caribbean , making the other two awe , occasionally asking small questions or gawking aloud with slight exclamations.
