The next morning, your eyes were swollen and you felt empty just like what you always feel like when waking up in the morning. But this time, you wanted to not wake up again and the emptiness seems to be heavier than usual.

You snapped out of your reverie the moment you heard a knock on the door. You quickly sat up on the bed, heart beat accelerating. The door slightly opened and it revealed a girl in her 20s carrying a tray filled with food that you don't know if it has poison. Fortunately, a small wave of relief hit you knowing that you're not the only female in this place. But there's one thing you're curious about - if she's one of them or she's just like you who was captured too and forced to work here.

"Miss, boss Hyunjin ordered me to deliver your breakfast," she said and was about to put it on the table when she saw the food from last night untouched.

"Miss, boss ordered me to bring you your breakfast." She spoke softly and calm. She put the tray of food on the table beside the bed and she landed her sight on the untouched food she brought here last night.

"Your boss? What's his name?" You asked, your voice came out a little louder than a whisper.

"Hyunjin."

"H-His full name." you asked again.

"H-Hwang Hyunjin, miss.." she answered and you remained silent. "His name is Hwang Hyunjin." she repeated.

The atmosphere is starting to make the two of you uncomfortable so she changed the topic by asking. "Miss, did you eat last night?" she asked, making you look at her.

"What's the point? I mean, they're going to kill me here, anyways. Right?" You sarcastically spat, crossing your arms. "Listen, I don't want anything from here, I just want to go back home and be with my family again. I don't even understand why those guys took me from yesterday just to be locked in this place." You added.

"T-they didn't tell you why?" she asked.

"He did, but I don't want to believe him. They're lying, I knew they were lying about what they said." Your voice cracked, making you bit your lower lip.

She remained silent and just looked at you with guilt visible on her eyes. She was about to say something when the door opened making the both of you turn heads towards it. He signaled the girl to leave the room and locked the door.

"Y/N," he started. Hearing her name being spoken from him makes her annoyed.

"What do you want, Hwang?" You bitterly asked the boy. Hyunjin looked at her, slightly caught off-guard about you knowing his name.

"Y/N you can't-"

"If you're here to tell me lies again then I don't want to hear it. It's too much for me so please.."

"Listen Kim Y/N, I know this is hard for you but the organization ordered me to do this. Your dad is one of the mafia, one of the underground boss too but he's a traitor," Hyunjin said, ignoring what you wished to him.

Hearing those words, you froze as you look at him directly in the eyes. There's no way he's telling something true. Oh no, your dad, he's a good guy. That's what you always sees him.

"Your dad has to pay for his debts and for the lives he took. And that includes my father, he killed him, Y/N. I suffered a lot when he was killed and I'm not letting him get away with it. I suffered so you're gonna suffer too! If using you against him will let me get into that bastard then I don't fucking care and I will do it!" he yelled.

You flinched the moment he raised his voice, making you shiver in fear. After comprehending what he said which is too much for you to handle, your eyes become watery. And this time, you let yourself cry and breakdown.

"And do you know what hurts the most? While I was suffering, he was living his life outside like he didn't commit a crime and destroyed someone's life. He made my life miserable, he made me live my life in pain." he added.

"How would I know that you're telling the truth?" You lifelessly asked, staring at nothing.

"Just eat now, Y/N. You might get sick," he said, avoiding the question you asked him.

He took a last quick glance at you before leaving the room, locking the door.

"What's with all the noise? Is she crying again?" Chan asked Hyunjin when he went out her room. He nodded with a sigh.

"I heard all of your conversation, it might be hard for her to understand things like these. She's so innocent," Chan said and held Hyunjin's shoulder.

"You were eavesdropping?" Hyunjin asked Chan.

"It was an accident," he replied, nervously chuckling.
