i miss him so much

i'm sorry i mistook our laughs

the hugs we shared

sweet texts

as him caring

it still kind of hurts when i hear his name

i know what we had is over

but look at us now

we're strangers again

it's the loneliest thing in the world

to see him every day

and remember that he once meant the world to me

i think i meant the world to him too

we had this chemistry that i've never had with anyone else

we just got each other

sometimes i go looking for a text message he forgot to delete

just to remind me that at one point

i did matter to him

that it wasn't all a lie

that for even just a moment

i was all he thought about

i hated cliches

but when i saw him

i was in love with the idea of the good falling for the bad

i'll think twice before wasting my time again
