chapter 114
"Rickey Nelson"

I listen to 60's tunes
as I write

and I count the things
I wish i could forget

and I think of all my dreams
tied up like california wildflowers

my mind wanders
and I begin to think;

i wish lonesome town
was a place outside of my head

and i wish
i could exchange my tears

for a dream or two
so I can begin to forget

like rickey nelson says
the streets are filled with regret

and i somberly wander
through aching cobbles

waiting for a travelling man
to hold me oh so tight

it's like rickey says,
the only price you pay

is a heartfull of tears.
