Chapter 90

2K 50 9

The owner of some teen club emailed me and wants me to host some party-like event there, so that's why I'm in New York. It's for the teenagers & young adults who consider themselves "fans."

I'm here with my business manager, Barbara and Martin, the "bodyguard." After what happened in Atlanta, everyone insisted I get one. I think he was in jail or something like that but he's good at his job, so I ain't complaining.

As soon as I walked in the club, people started screaming & yelling. It, honestly, scared me because I'm not used to that. They ushered me to a stage-like area and they were gonna give me a chance to talk to some people individually before it started.

Everyone that came up was so sweet and cute. I took pictures with them and signed things they wanted me to sign.

There were three people that stood out to me though because they all brought something with them. This one girl walked up to me crying for some reason and I didn't know how to handle it.

"What's your name sweetie?"

"Why are you crying?"

"Because I'm finally getting to meet you," she cried.

"But why? I'm a normal person just like everybody else here."

"But you're not like everyone else - you're a famous dancer. Ugh, I love you so much. I love the way you dance, your style, your personality - everything," she said.

She handed me a letter and told me not to open it until I got home. I thought she was too adorable, so I gave her one of my rings to have, which only made her cry harder.

The next girl came up with a stuffed tiger and handed it to me.

"It's so cute!" I said excitedly, "what's your name?"

"Thank you Emily."

I gave Martin the letter & tiger to hold while I took off one of my bracelets and put it on her arm. She smiled, gave me a tight ass hug, and went with everyone else.

The last girl was the one that stood out the most. She was wearing a Clippers shirt with the number 32 on it.

Of course.

"I came all the way from Virginia just to meet you," she said. She was shaking, crying & smiling at the same time.

"Oh my God. No you didn't," I said in disbelief

"I really did! I had to meet you."

"What's your name?"

"Well it's nice to meet you Danielle," I said, signing her phone case, "I like your shirt."

"Thank you! I think you and Blake are so cute together."

"You're so cute," I said, ignoring what she said.

"I brought this for you," she said, handing me a black hoodie.

I unfolded it and on the back it said Breezy BadAss with the number 19 on it. How she found out about that God awful nickname, I'll never know.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it! Thank you!"

I gave her a hug and she hugged back much tighter. I took off my hamsa necklace and put it around her neck. She freaked out and gave me another hug, which made me laugh a little. She went back with everyone else and we got started.
