I can't believe what just happened. Luke thinks i like Kyle more then him. Right now im running down the dark streets. I sit in the grass and Cry.
I love luke so much and he doesn't know it. I open the door to my house and plop on the couch.
" Oh my god Lacey!" maya says running over to me
" What happened?" she asks
" Luke doesn't think I love him" I say crying
" You ditched him for kyle" she says
" Not helping!! I would never trade luke for anyone" I say
" Hey look on the bright side! Tomorrow is birthday and we can go shopping! " she says
" Oh yeah. Im gonna be 15. That sounds like a good idea. Thanks maya" I say hugging her
Maya Pov
Tomorrow is Laceys birthday. Luke ia throwing a surpirse birthday party at this super fancy place. I hope he doesn't cancel it since they are having some issues. I decide to ask him.
"Lukey Charm" I say
"Maya papaya" he says
" Are you canceling the party?" I ask
" Of course not." he says
" Are you coming?" I ask
" I dont think its a good idea" he says
" Oh c'mon luke. It would make her so happy please?" I ask
" Ugh fine. But if Kyle is there its going down and im yelling timber." he says
" Invite the guys" I say
" ok bye" he says hanging up.
Luke's Pov
Today I am babysitting Matt's daughter Juliana because all the guys are going out and apparently im not old enough to enter a club. Me and her are partners in crime so I dont mind watching her.
The doorbell rings. I get up and answer the door. There stands matt and Juliana.
" Lucas!!" She screams running into my arms
" Julie baby" I say spinning her around. I kiss her head then set her down.
" You already know my rules. Thanks luke" Matt says leaving.
5 hours later
I can't believe the guys aren't back yet. I tried calling them but they won't answer.
Then I get a call from Matt.
" hello?" I say
" Heyyyyyyy" matt slurs. Oh hell no.
" Just leave Juliana on the stairs ill get her" he slurs
" Good bye matt" I say hanging up
I have to get Juliana out of here before they come. The guys are dangerous when they are drunk.
" Babe get your shoes your backpack and your coat on we are gonna go" I say as she moves to get ready
I put on my " Da fuq" beanie and my nirvana hoodie. Juliana slides on her tan button uggs while I button up her north face jacket. She puts her frozen backpack on. I pick her up and walk out into the cold winter air. She burries her head in my shoulder.
I unlock my car and put her in her booster seat and buckle her up. Yes I have a booster seat just in case. I close her door then get in the drivers seat. I look back and see she looks worried.
" Dont worry babe everything is fine. We are just going to la Casa de Abuela." I say
" Can we get cookies there?!" She asks
" Of course" I say pulling off
I park the car and get Juliana out the back seat. I grab her backpack then carry her to the doorstep. I ring the doorbell and abuela answers. She rushed us in.
" Ayyy luka Que te Paso?" (Whats wrong) she asks Dusting the snow out of our hair.
" Dad and la familia are drunk and I didnt want juliana to be there when they arrived" I say sitting down with Juliana on my lap.
" Abuela puedo comí cookies?" ( can I eat cookies) juliana asks
" Si estan en la Cocina" ( yes they are in the kitchen) she says as juliana runs into the kitchen as her fiery red hair bounces.
"WHEREEEEE?!" Juliana screams from the kitchen
" A la derecha" ( on the right) she says. Juliana comes back with 2 cookies.
" Alright babe I gotta go." I say giving her a kiss on the head
" Where you going?" She asks
" Im gonna go take care of the boys" I say
" Are you coming back?" She asks
" Of course" I say as she gives me a hug.
" Gracias Abuela" I say
" Adios luke" she says as I leave
