I planned to leave Cameron at seven this morning. When I got off the phone with Nate last night, he was asleep when I had went back in, so I got comfortable down on the chair next to his bed and went to sleep as well. It was really late at the time, after all. At around 5AM, a nurse came in to give him medicine, so after that, we both stayed up.

"Shit." Cameron muttered.

"What's the matter?"

"I need to work." He scowls.

I roll my eyes. "Are you stupid? You're bedridden."

"No. Are you?" He claps back.

"I'm not even gonna entertain this," I say quietly to myself. Are you? I laugh, he sounds like Logan.

"Sorry, I sound immature. But can you do me a favour when you go?" He asks, looking straight at me. I huff and nod.

"Of course, what is it?"

"Can you find some time in the day to bring me my laptop from home? I have to do some sort of work, since I don't have a phone anymore." He tells me. His phone got wrecked in the accident. He had it stuck to the windscreen so it pretty much got crushed into bits.

"Okay. I'll bring it this afternoon, I have breakfast to go to." I say, and then offer, "I'll pick up a new phone for you too,"

"Thanks. And please don't. I'll just order one later,"

"No, I'll bring both."

"The XR is an expensive phone, Lindy."

"So are you trying to say I can't afford it?" I ponder, with raised eyebrows. We're both millionaires here.

He laughs, and then clutches his chest, taking about half a minute to regain breath. "Are you okay, Cam?" I say, feeling concerned. Seeing him in this state scares me. He was seriously asthmatic years ago, I don't know if he still is. Some people tend to grow out of the condition.

"I'm fine. Thanks." He says. I know he's lying. I can see it in his face.

" I will get you a new phone today. On me, okay? I'll bring some food as well."

He tells me that his house keys are in his trousers on the shelf. I reached into the pocket and felt two things; an inhaler and keys. I picked it up. It pains me to discover he's still asthmatic. He struggled so much with it. My brother was when he was younger, but he's grown out of it with the help of his preventer and lifestyle over all these years.

He shakes his head, smiling, and sighed. "You're amazing."

"I know. I'll see you later." I tell him, giving him a hug before quickly going back home to have a shower and change then leaving to meet Nate and do other errands for the day.

"Hey." I grin, hugging Nate outside a cafe.

"Hey," he smiled, wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you too, by the way." I tell him, smirking.

"I love you most." He said, pecking my check as he squeezed my butt. Gives me tingles every time.

At breakfast, he told me everything that happened in the night. Logan and Ellie didn't sleep until 11PM because they were too busy eating all night and playing with the dog. Isaac was wasted, so he showed everybody his cool tricks. Whenever he's had a drink, something always interesting always happens. Isaac being a sappy drunk is what led to him and Madison's relationship. He crushed on her for months in school, and at a party, on his sixth beer, he worked up the nerve to talk to her for the first time. Madison got Isaac sobered up before they both decided to leave the party, ate frozen yoghurt for hours, had sex in the back of his truck and ended up dating two weeks later.
