Draco look at Harry, huffed and hurried to his common room. How dare Harry defy his words. He said them to protect him. Stupid Potter would make a stupid mistake and get killed in this thing. Draco growled out the password and entered the common room, eyes set on pansy.

"He did it." He snarled. "I told him not to! But he did it anyways." Pansy rolled her eyes.

"Draco. You've been acting as though Potter were your mate. But he isn't, and you need to remind yourself of that."

Draco growled at her. "Whatever pansy." He walked away, ignoring everyone on his way. It wan no secret he fancied Potter, and it's partly his fault no one at hogworts would ask him out. Sure, a good handful of blokes liked him, but none of them were willing to mess with Draco, especially if he got pissed off.

He slumped down into his bed, why couldn't Potter realize he wasn't just playing a game, or trying to humiliate him.

All three schools were crammed into the great hall for a feast. However, unlike a normal night, am excited buzz was flying in the audience. Today the three champions were being chosen by the cup.

"Quite!" The headmaster demanded.

Every head in the room was directed to the flaming cup next to him.

"When all of the names are pulled, the triwizard tournament will begin. Once chosen, as I've said before, can not back down, and must participate." He said gravely, then, the fire grew and changed in color, spitting out a poorly folded paper. Dumbledore caught it between his fingers and cleared his throat.

"Viktor Krum of Durmstrang!" Howls came from a group of boys, and a very tall, handsome boy strode to stand with Dumbledore.

"Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons!" Many excited yells came from the far table, a young and beautiful woman joined the head mater on stage. She grinned to all the students.

Another paper, "Cedric Diggory of Hogwarts!" He called, and many hufflepuffs yelled their excitement. Meanwhile, Draco found himself over relived.

Harry wouldn't be participating. He wouldn't get hurt. He would be fine.-

The fire roared as Dumbledore was about to speak, with bravo, the fire launched another slip into the air. It fell gently to the head masters hand.

"It seems the goblet of fire has demanded another champion... Harry Potter of Hogwarts!" He called, making Harry jump up and Ron smile enthusiastically.

"Go on mate!" He encouraged.

Harry happily walked up to the teachers when a strong hand held him back, "No!" Draco Malfoy called to the headmaster. "There has been a mistake! There's only three champions. You- It's not allowed! He can't be allowed to participate." He almost whispered out a please.

"Mr. Malfoy. Please release Mr. Potter so he can take his place. I understand that you may feel strongly about not being chosen-" Draco cut him off.

"I don't care about that! You can't let him... I won't let him!" Harry wrenched his arm out of his grasp.

"That's not up to you." He snapped in a whisper and left him behind, becoming level with his competitors.

"Ladies and Gentlemen... You're triwizard champions." Every one cheered except Draco.

He left, ignoring Pansy on his way out. "Stupid potter. He's going to get himself hurt. Killed. Stupid idiot." He mumbled, not caring that he was missing the celebration feast.
