In a parallel world I walked,
In a world that is not our making.
I swam through the Pacific waters.
One step, then the boastful steppes.
One jump, then the zigzag roads.
One stride, then the scorching desert.
One climb, then the Himalayas.
Now I stop at Roseman Bridge.
I see the freezing winds of the north,
The sunken icebergs of the south,
The ravishing waves of the east,
The earthen walls of the west.
They can be seen from each end of the tunnels.
Soon I will plunge through the depths,
Under the depths of the Mediterranean,
Through the forests of the Amazon,
Through the winding roads of time and space….
And back into her arms.
Now I go on.
