TZUYU POV:
The road was awkward and quiet. We realized quickly that no one could see into the car as it was tinted. This fact was relieving to me to say the least, but whatever. I had an uneasy feeling consistently spreading through me as we kept driving. I really didn't know where we were going and I was admittedly scared of what was coming. There had been some random stranger dressed very clearly like a doctor, just a very scary one who had intimidatingly walked towards us. What made me slightly shake in my seat was the fact that he was Kyung's brother...
I wasn't ready to face another monster, not even after five years. Chaeyoung had this look of extreme distress painted over her face. I hated it. I hated that after five years we only got to spend so minutes together with bliss and admittedly tacos. I wished that we had fairly normal lives, but I guess being the first vampire for the serum to expire comes with some consequences.
"What are we going to do..?" I asked carefully.
"We're hoping to get out of his search range first, then we need to make a plan, if he found us then it won't be long before he finds us again and that means we need to start figuring out how to get rid of him instead," Jennie said, sighing, "We're sorry this is happening..."
"Wait, so all we need to is get rid of him? Why can't we do that now, there's no way he can fight back all of us," Dahyun said, fairly logically.
"No, but if that Vial X gets into any of our systems... then it's the same as that person dying," Jisoo said, shaking her head, "He's not stupid, we could all attack him, but he'd get that vial into our systems, we need to figure out how to reverse it's affects before attacking him."
"Tell me more about this Vial X," Mina asked, and I could tell by the look on her face that we were in a more serious mindset.
"Well, it's essentially a serum. However, it goes into the cells and adds something onto the DNA, it adds a control center to the nucleus of the cell by going through the semi-permeable membrane of your cell, and then that control center, settles into the nucleoli and changes the instructions written in your DNA. From their your cells quite literally start to work differently, and then your neuro-functions are affected by that and your body, now affected by the control center, is activated by a voice encrypted, using specific wave lengths to identify the voice, in the control, Park Haejin's, and when that voice is used your body is forced to listen. However, the control center has an aspect where it mutates the cell so that all rational thinking is lost--
"I lost you at DNA, please speak non-medic language please," I said, interrupting, Rosé.
"Okay, it just makes you go crazy because your cells and listen to the voice encrypted in the serum," Rosé said, "We told you this already, I thought you wanted details."
"I did want details!" Mina, who asked the question said, "Tzuyu apparently did not."
"I do not speak smart doctor language, Mina," I said, with a small chuckle.
"Yes, that is very clear," Mina said, laughing a little back.
This brought back memories of when times were simpler and easier. When we could joke about dumb things like my lack of ability to understand doctors. Right now, it was an immense comfort from the knowledge I had just received.
"Okay, but where exactly are we going..?" Momo asked.
"Well, we have a safehouse that blocks out any signals from coming in, or going out, so no one should be able to find us, unless that wall blocking those signals is taken down, which could happen," Lisa said, "We're hoping it gives us enough time to group and plan..."
