I wish to fly away,
and never come back.
For when I am gone,
know I am in Neverland.
I am young forever.
I am wild forever.
I am safe forever.
Neverland is where I belong,
with safety wrapped
around my shivering arms.
I dream of staying a child,
undisturbed by pain
and tears.
I dream of living a young life
where my body never fails me.
Through all these dreams,
I am blinded by my wishes
of reality.
I wish to die,
and never breathe again.
A young girl who wishes to fly away
is also the same girl who wishes to die.
The contradiction brings her the most pain
ever known to her conscious.
