Tomorrow, Today (COMPLETED)

Getting Ready

"Mr. Park, thank you for your patience and cooperation. We're glad to say that the check up is done now and you may go home to rest. We will inform you the test result sometimes tomorrow".
Jinyoung nods, offering his handsome smile. JB sits next to him and listening carefully.
"However", the doctor states, "when we did CT scan, dr Lee and I found another lump in your spleen".
Jingyoung and JB freeze.
"It could be a lots of things though, it's too early to make any assumption for now. That's why we would like to conduct a biopsy".
"Biopsy?", Jinyoung asks.
"It's just a simple procedure. You'll be given local anasthesia, make small incision, and we'll insert small needle to the place where the lump is, in your case, just right below the armpit, take small sample out and send it to the lab for testing.We prefer you to be admitted to the hospital to minimalize the side effect, but you also have a choice to do this as an outpatient. The procedure itself won't take a long time, not more than an hour". 
"Is it necessary?", JB asked.
"I'm afraid yes, mr. Im", dr Kang explains, "it will provide us better look on the lump and more accurate diagnosis. Like I said, it's too early to make any assumption because it can be just because of exhaustion or allergy to more serious condition. That's why we need this test".
"Mr. Park, is your family present at the moment? Because we'll be needing their consent to do the surgery", dr. Kang asks Jinyoung.
"No, they live outta town. Can't I give consent for myself? Is the surgery risky?".
"Technically you can, because you're an adult. The risk is small, but we can't guarantee that everything will go smoothly because there's always a risk with anasthesia. You can be allergic, feeling dizzy and nauseaus, vomiting, and other side effects". 
"I can be his guardian", JB responds quickly.
Jinyoung turns his head to JB. JB looks at Jinyoung affectionately, "faster this way".
Dr. Kang then explains more about the surgery and the tests before they're allowed to go. JB and Jinyoung walk together through the special alley that leads to the back door.
Jinyoung sighs, somehow he feels like it's only a start to something really bad. There's a rock sitting in the bottom of his stomach and he can't make it go away. JB must have known his feeling because suddenly Jinyoung feels someone holding his hand.
Jinyoung looks up to see his Hyung smiling at him. The smile giving him reassurance and calmness. Jinyoung smiles back and they walk holding hands to the car.

They found a lump. He'll be back tomorrow for biopsy. Me and Jinyoung will have our schedule cleared tomorrow. JB

JB sends the message to Mark with heavy heart. He doesn't want the oldest member to feel worried. But he knows Mark will bombarded him with question if he doesn't give any details. So far, only JB, Mark and the manager who know Jinyoung's condition.
Jinyoung fell asleep instantly when they got in the car. JB noticed that the check up must be exhausting for Jinyoung, physically and mentally. He fell asleep in JB's lap, JB stroke the younger man's hair throughout their trip. Jinyoung didn't even wake up when JB carried him to his room. Luckily the dorm was pretty empty at this time around so no one would bother. JB sure that Jinyoung is lighter than before, he could carry his body easier.
Manager noona brought food for their dinner and excuse herself. It's only JB and Jinyoung now. JB feels his loneliness intensifies and hope that Mark could just come, but he can't do that because bringing Mark here would anger Jinyoung.

Did the doctor say anything? MT

Mark replies within seconds.

Not yet, they will know more after the biopsy. Doctor told JY has to be admitted, but he insisted to do it as outpatient. Hard headed punk.JB

JB sighs loudly, he can't even reason with this guy Park Jinyoung.

Do you want me to come over? MT

Mark replies.

No need, we're fine. I'll tell you if there's anything wrong.JB

Actually JB wants Mark to come over. Maybe Jackson too. And Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom too. The maybe they can have a little party together like they used to.
JB looks around him. It's their old dorm. JB doesn't understand why Jinyoung still occupying this dorm alone. All of them already moved out, but Jinyoung decided to stay. Maybe it's because he's already accustomed to this dorm? What JB understand is that Jinyoung always plays everything safe. Once he gets attached to something, he tends to keep it for a long time.
This place used to be chaotic. 7 Boys cramped up in a tiny apartment with 3 rooms, living room, tiny kitchen, and two bathrooms only. You can't even say that it has 3 rooms because the room used by JB and Youngjae is actually more like a storage room. When they were staying in the apartment, loud noises can be heard 24/7. Maknaes were always creating all sorts of mess along with Jackson. Only Mark would stay in his room playing whatever games he's into. And Jinyoung would always stay somewhere reading or scolding the boys.
Their living room sofa is still the same. The tv is still the same,even the kitchen utensils are still the same. In the living room, there's a bookshelf that used to be filled with Jb and Jinyoung's books. Now the bookshelf is half empty because JB already took his books with him. JB notice some new books he hasn't read. Jinyoung must've bought them. Jinyoung doesn't even move from his "room" in front of the bathroom. Jinyoung's room was originally a part of Bambam and Yugyeom's room.  Because the room was big and there'a still space, Jinyoung modified the space and turned it into a tiny room for himself. The inconvenience part is that Bambam and Yugyeam had to go past Jinyoung's room whenever they had to do their business.
Now the apartment feels empty. All of them still have their belongings in the apartment here and there, but apparently Jinyoung already noved them into one room. So it's looking neat and clean. JB wonders how can Jinyoung stay in this place alone? If it's Jb, he wouldn't be able to live by himself that's why he has so many cats. But Jinyoung doesn't like keeping pets either. But again, Jinyoung is actually introvert, he likes being alone without any noise.
Jinyoung is still asleep but it's getting late. JB wakes him up slowly. Jinyoung is still on groggy mode when JB asks him to sit and eat dinner with him.
"Are you going to tell your family about this?", JB asks.
"I will", Jinyoung says, "but not now".
"Don't you want to inform your family about tomorrow's procedure?".
"Not really. Doc said it will be just a simple procedure. No need to fuss about something simple".
Damn, Jinyoung is going into emo mode. When he's like this, there's no way JB can start a conversation. This kid's emotion can be a mess up sometimes. One day he can be very sweet and the next day he can be very savage. JB knows he has to pick his words very carefully.
"Geurae", JB nods. Maybe I'll ask him again tomorrow, JB says to himself, "don't forget to take your meds".
Jinyoung only nods.
JB sighs, it's going to be a looong night.
Both JB and Jinyoung can't sleep that night. But they don't talk either. When JB enters Jinyoung room that night, the younger man pretends to sleep. JB checks Jinyoung's forehead to make sure he doesn't have fever and relieved because his forehead is cold. He then walks away, back to his room. JB wishes that he's Mark because only Mark who can handle situation like this calmly. And Jinyoung wouldn't be able to resist Mark's charm, wouldn't be able to do something bad either. With JB, Jinyoung knows everything. He knows how to play cards with JB and it's really hard to outsmart Jinyoung. He's always one step ahead of JB. With Mark, Jinyoung becomes a lost puppy finding his owner. He's very obedient and would never do something to upset his Hyung. In times like this, JB finds it hard to become the leader.
The next day, the biopsy goes without a hitch, although Inyoung is terrified seeing the small needle dr. Kang told him about turned out to be not so small. In fact, it's long and huge to Jinyoung's eyes. He closed his eyes when the procedure is done. Jinyoung has to stay a couple of hours to make sure he doesn't suffer from any unwanted side effect.  He's released after the doctor stating that he's in a good condition with a strict order to stay in bed today and nothing strenous for at least 48 hours. They will know the result 4 days to 7 days after the biopsy and will be contacted.
There's nothing they can do so they go back to the apartment. The good side is, Jinyoung's mood seems to be a whole lot better. Jb woke up this morning to a smiling Jinyoung in the kitchen making breakfast. JB can't thank God enough for it. When his in a good mood, Jinyoung can talk about everything passionately and even talk about new ideas which he finds very exciting.

is the only word Mark sends to JB. They are back at the dorm and Jinyoung said he didn't want to go to the room just yet, so now they are sitting in the sofa watching Netflix.

We're at the dorm already, everything went well. Result will be available 4-7 days from now. Jinyoung's mood is a lot better. JB

"Hyung, are the cats okay? You've been with me all the times these 3 days", Jinyoung asks, he's eating apple JB peeled for him.
"Nah, don't worry bout them, I already asked my landlord to look out for them. She's really nice and she likes cats very much".
"Your apartment seems very good".
"Yes, it is", JB smiles, "don't you want to move out?".
Jinyoung chuckles, "is that a rhetorical question?".
"Yea, but I still want to know from you".
"Moving out process is tiring, I'm already comfortable here, easier to commute", Jinyoung counts the reason he's still staying, "and I still feel all the member's presence in here".
JB startled, he never thought that Jinyoung is really sentimental like that, well not to this point anyway.
"For me, I have lots of memories here. This is our second dorm, right? Our first was hideous, smelly, hot, it wasn't really nice. We got this one after we gained good chart and our fan increased. So it's the beginning of our success. I'm constantly reminded that we all have worked really hard to achieve this. I never feel alone, because I can still feel we all gather here".
JB can't say anything to Jinyoun's words. This man trully has the purest heart and it makes JB wants to protect him even more.
"Honestly, I feel worried about the biopsy result", Jinyoung admits, "what if it's something really bad? I knew something was wrong with my body, but I lied to myself and pretending tgat everything is alright. But if it's alright, they wouldn't have to slice me open, right?"
"It's too early to make any assumption, dr. Kang said so. You shouldn't be worried. Maybe you're just exhausted".
"But hyung, what if it's something that can jeopardized the group? We still have contracts, we're still planning on our comeback.. I can't afford to....".
"Ssh..", JB stops Jinyoung, "listen, if anything happens, we will deal with this together, you hear me?"
"Don't run away, Jinyoung-ah", JB embraces Jinyoung with his strong arm, "we are here for you. That'a why we're Got7, okay. We won't let you deal with this alone. So please, please help us to help you".
Jinyoung burries his head in JB's embrace.
"Try not to think about the biopsy too much, okay?", JB strokes Jinyoung's hair, "just get some rest, eat your food and your meds properly. You've gone through so much this two days you must be very tired. Is the surgical site still sore?".
Jinyoung nods, "hurts a little, but it's fine. The medicine is helping".
"Ae Ri noona will come here with our dinner. I told her to get us meat, it's your favorite, right?"
Jinyoung nods, but he suddenly remembers something, "hey, do you think JYP hyung knows about me being in the hospital?".
"Well, I told Ae Ri noona not to tell.. but we are never sure if it's about JYP hyung. Let's not think about it.. we'll tell him later".
Jinyoung agrees and bury his head back to JB's chest.
