My digital home

Not a place where you throw the gates open

And barge in, demanding, but a place where

You hesitate, take a peek before you're

Welcomed with open arms. A place where

You realise poetry is not something you write

With nothing to do but the art of making

Nothing into something, no one into someone

Whose electronic words the world has ears for.

Here, you wear your words as a cloak,

Your ideas form your skin, here is the two-way bridge

Between the saplings and the trees, buds and blown flowers,

Here, in our little corner of the orange world, is a shelter

From life's chaotic ways, a silent room and also

An ardent audience, to express your feelings

And build your identity, word by word, drop by drop.
