Teleporting was easy. School was usually easy. Most things were easy. Writing this note, letter to yourself was not.

You weren't even planning on keeping it. You were going to give it to someone, Tony or Peter or Mrs. Mardue.

Someone else was going to get it. It was going to be an apology or a thanks. That's what you wanted to write.

But the words died on the page. Nothing you wrote seemed right. Nothing on the paper seemed like it belonged there.

You figured it was cause you felt so bad. Maybe it was because you wanted to say it all in real life, in person.

I mean, that would be the appropriate thing to do, wouldn't it? You stand from the pier and get a portal to leave.

Before you can step through, you get knocked to the ground. You groan out in pain. Looking up to see who knocked you down, you see Peter.

He looks angry, or worried. You couldn't really tell.

"Oh, shoot. Sorry. I didn't mean to knock you down, I meant to just stop you from running away again," he says.

He helps you up and you let out an awkward laugh, "it's no biggie. Nothing wrong with wanting to stop me from... running away... again. Sorry about that, by the way."

He looks at you, awkwardly laughs, and says, "it's.. no biggie, really. I was more worried than anything else."

"I wanted to apologize. It wasn't right to freak out and leave. Not after we became friends. I'm sorry about that."

"It's okay. I was just wondering, what's wrong? Someone named Mrs. Mardue has called Mr. Stark suddenly. He didn't know how she got his number so he answered the phone.

"Suddenly, she was asking for me, talking about you. She told me to come right away and so I did, thinking something was wrong. Turns out she was just trying to get us together."

You laugh a little, looking down. Damn,
Mrs. Mardue would do something like that, wouldn't she.

You glanced back up at Peter, "I need to explain things—."

"I do too. But you should go first."

"I am the superhero Tei. The superhero like all the avengers are against. You can't tell anyone about me though."

"Oh. I'm Spiderman but I already told you that. I know we've only known each other for a day, well two days now, but I think I have a crush on you.

"My Aunt, Nat or Black Widow, told me that girls always like to know when someone likes or dislikes them. She told me to tell you that I liked you."

"I-."

"Also, we need to go back to school, they're concerned about our whereabouts. I think they'll get mad at us more the longer we wait. And I'm rambling. I want to keep talking
but—."

"Peter Benjamin Parker. Look at me."

You held your hands to his face, holding him close to you. You felt like kissing him but with how he acts when someone kisses him, you decided against it.

"I like you to."

You settle for a hug. You hold him close and hear a small, "oh," from Peter. He hugs you back.

"Also, the school can think whatever they want. We've got Tony Stark on our side," you tell him.

You two stay like that for a long while, neither of you wanting to let go. It's not until you two hear clapping that you guys let go.

"Good job, Peter. I told you that telling her would work out well for you," Natasha said.

Tony stood next to her, sighing, "I told her to not say anything. I didn't want to ruin the moment."

"But it was so cute. I mean, it's her, but it's still cute. I knew you had it in you, my little spider."

When Natasha and Peter started talking, Tony came up to you. He nodded silently, a question you answered by handing him the paper.

"It didn't feel right. I need to tell people in person," you say to him. The both of you look out onto the lake.

He nods again, "that's what I found out too."

"Then why didn't you just tell me that?"

"It's better to find out on your own. It's more rewarding then."

"You're strange, Mr. Stark."

"Please, call me Tony. Maybe you'll be able to get your boyfriend to call me it too."

You laugh, "he's not my boyfriend."

"Not yet."

Peter and Nat come up to you guys after their conversation. They sit and laugh with you and Tony for a while.

Before going, they promised that them testing out your abilities wasn't over. It was said threat style but it didn't scare you at all.

"Are you my boyfriend, Peter?"

"I'd say so, how about you? Are you my girlfriend, (Y/N)?"

"I'd say so."
