Chapter 2
When i was a kid. I dreamt that I'll marry a princess. I was 7 years old back then. Still believing on fairy tales and love stories that my Mom's always telling me before going to bed.
When i reached the age of 14, that's when i entered myself into a serious relationship. My first girlfriend was 3 years older than me. Being new to relationships and being fond of love stories, i thought that ours will last, and hoping and wishing that I'll end up with her. But the sad truth is that she just used me to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. I even bedded her at that time not knowing she's a total slut! Disgusting!
After having that kind of relationship i never believed that true love exist. My Mom and Dad got divorced also so i really believed that there's no such thing as love. Women are just for flings. Relationships lasted only for a week. And girls are only for sex.
Kapag nag seryoso ka, talo ka! Love is only for fools. And i am done fooling myself.
" hija, mabuti naman at nakadalaw ka." pababa na ako ng hagdan ng marinig ko ang boses ni mommy. Kabubukas niya lang ng pinto.
" opo, Mommy Beth. Miss ko na po kasi iyong mga luto niyo. " they both giggled. I knew that voice. That sweet and calm voice.
I don't know why i hurriedly went downstairs. I felt a little excitement hearing her cute voice. So feminine and so sweet.
" come inside. Ikaw lang ba mag-isa? "
" hmmm. Tumakas po ako. Hihi. " she said giggling.
" ikaw talagang bata ka. Sige na maupo ka muna at tatawagan ko ang lolo mo." paalam ni Mommy.
" sige po. Salamat. " nang tuluyan na akong makababa ay tinungo ko ang living room and there i saw the brown haired tiny girl sitting on a single couch.
" what are you doing here?! " sinadya ko siyang gulatin at nagtagumpay naman ako.
" ayy! Kabayong bakla!! " Nakanganga siya ng humarap saakin habang nakahawak sa dibdib niya.
I laughed " did i scare you? 'Di ko alam na magugulatin ka pala? " i laughed even harder. Feeling a bit weird about myself. I'm not friendly and all. To be honest, I'm a one-word man. Kapag kinausap mo ako, kakausapin kita. Kapag hindi, hindi rin ako magsasalita.
She closed her eyes. Then when she looks at me intently and smiled sweetly. I was taken aback.
" sinong hindi magugulat eh ang lalim ng boses mo. Kaboses mo 'yong kalabaw ni mang temyo. Hahahaha. " pangaasar niya rin saakin.
" excuse me? You're comparing me to a Cow? "
" Carabao 'yon! Tanga! "
" a Carabao then. What makes you think that I'm a Carabao?! " inis na tanong ko.
" wala naman akong sinabing kalabaw ka. Ang sabi ko kaboses mo! Magkaiba iyon shunga! "
" you're really crazy. "
" and you're--- "
" I'm what? " hamon ko sakanya. " come on. Say it! " i smirked ready to banter with her.
" you're --- "
" hmm? "
" you're gwapo! Ano masaya ka na? " napatulala ako sa sinabi niya. At natawa.
" gwapong kalabaw nga lang. Hahahahah. " i look at her in disbelief. She just gave me her sweet smile.
Magsasalita pa sana ako ng dumating na si Mommy.
