"Unchain him, he's harmless." I requested and Enzo let out a loud chuckle. I turned to him and glared, walking over to him.
"I'm serious. I'll explain everything to you all later." I said and the turned my head to face Cyrus.
"Do you trust me?" I asked him.
"I Dont trust him." He replied and I shook my head.
"That wasn't the question,"
Cyrus looked at me for a moment and then nodded his head, he gestured to Tristan, ordering him to release Josiah.
"But I want this door locked and chained." Cyrus added and Tristan nodded, pushing the door open and entering the cell.
"Lets get out of here," Enzo stated and I nodded, following his lead, out of the shed.
When we finally reached the top, I sniffed the air, pleased with the stench of blood gone. I walked over to the house and took a seat in the kitchen, pouring myself a cup of water.
I was tense to say the least.
I didn't know what to do, or how to explain to Cyrus and the other men about what Josiah had said.
My instincts told me that he was telling the truth, and my wolf agreed. It was just difficult to understand how I could help heal their kind.
Just healing Sydney's leg made me feel dizzy, how would I be when I'm healing a thousand wolves?!
I let out a shuddered sigh and rested my head on the cold marble countertop.
"What am I going to do.." I groaned in a whisper and closed my eyes.
"You can start by telling us what he told you," Jaxon's voice came from behind me and I lifted my head up, and turned to stare at hm.
"Cyrus asked that I bring you to the boardroom."
I hated that boardroom, it brought back memories of my first initial meeting with the authorities of the Pack. It was the first time I had seen Enzo and despised him instantly.
"Just So you know... everyone can tell that your scent is different." Jaxon smirked and I laughed.
It had been a while since I had laughed and it felt good. I opened my mouth to speak but Jaxon shut me up,
"Don't tell me! Just come with me," he waved his hands and walked away.
Deciding not to resist, I got up and followed Jaxon into the boardroom, where Cyrus was seated at the head, Enzo on his right, and Marcus on his left. Tristan was not in the room and I was glad, I hated that man for torutuing Josiah and I presumed he had injured Jarrod in the process.
Jaxon and I walked over to the long table and I took my seat beside Marcus, and Jaxon sat beside Enzo.
"What'd he say to you?" Enzo spoke up and I stared at him blankly. I knew Josiah was innocent, so there was no need to be fearful or nervous in front of these guys, even if they didn't believe me.
"Nevaeh?" Cyrus called, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"He's innocent." I blurted out, "Before you all laugh just listen," I said sternly. I got up from my uncountable seat and paced around the room, just like my father did when he scolded Sierra and I.
"He isn't a vampire. The Alpha of his Pack -"
"Rogues don't have Packs" Marcus spat in disapproval and I ignored him, continuing.
"The Alpha and met with a strange man and they have a special serum. A serum that was injected into the veins of rogues just like Josiah -"
"Who's Josiah?" Jaxon asked.
