Enu watched the nebula through the window. Papa had explained to her that it was just a monitor set in the wall, but it looked like a felt like a window. The nebula was tinted purple, like spilled grape juice.
Mama told her that it wasn't purple at all. That she made it look that way on the screen. In real life, it was just gasses and dust, invisible as air. Enu wanted to go out and see it herself, but they both said she was too young.
Alone, Enu watched the nebula get closer, and dreamed of drinking stars.
