The table was set and I had just placed a pot of kimchi fried rice in the center as Yoongi's class should be finished. I am about to text him when I hear someone call his name. Being the responsible friend I am I quickly make my way to the door, only to be thoroughly shocked at the sight before me. Yoongi is cuddled up against that Hoseok boy while the dancer looks pained, however, they jump both giving me scared looks as the door makes a knocking noise against the wall. "Oh, you two are certainly cozier than I expected. If you are finished with the PDA in front of my humble abode, then I would like to inform you that I finished making dinner. There is plenty if your... friend would like to join." I hadn't expected such an embrace between the two considering how many complaints I hear about Hoseok on a daily basis. I cross my arms and Yoongi pushes away from Hoseok beginning to ramble.
"Eomma, no bad. Jus...just fall." The small boy pleads and cradles his right hand to his side which seems to be bandaged. I decide to save the curiosity for later and bring him in by the shoulder into the apartment. Looking back at Hoseok the boy presses his hand to his lips and gives me a confused look. Having pity on him I beckon him in as well and am surprised when he shakes his head.
"Come on, I don't bite. There is plenty to eat and I am sure my roommate wouldn't mind." I give him a wink, but Hoseok straightens up and pulls a yellow colored package from his bag.
"I should really go, I have some loose ends at the school I have to take care of. I would really appreciate it if you passed this on for me. Thank you for the invitation, maybe next time I can take you up on that offer." He passes me the gift and rubs the back of his neck while I stare on awkwardly. "I promised Yoongi hyung something for listening to me after what happened in class. He can explain his side of it, but he went into regression so I made sure to bring him here. My step-brother would sometimes act like him from time to time so I figured that was what was going on. I in no way want to make him uncomfortable so please just... make sure he is okay. Please let me know if there is anything I can do on my end to help." I can see the sincerity in his eyes and I realize that he may just be the one who can give Yoongi his missing piece. If my hunch is right then these two will need a bridge to remedy their broken encounters.
"Oh Hoseok-ah, I know that you are busy but please at least let me give you food for the journey. You have been so kind, thank you for bringing him home. My friend is a special guy and has difficulty with opening up to people, so the fact that he showed you his smaller side means he must trust you." Smiles pass between us and I pull him into the entry hall. Yoongi looks up from his perch on the couch and frowns seeing his teacher in tow. "Come come, you need to eat Yoongi-ya. If I hear any complaints than Mr. Jung will have to just take back his pretty package. Sure is a shame looks like a keeper." I wink at Hoseok and he blushes giving me a surprised look.
"No, Yoonie will eat. He wants prize prize!" Little patting of feet on the carpeted living room follows and I laugh as he plops himself at the table. I leave the pair and head to the kitchen for a container so I can send dinner home with Hoseok. I can hear nothing but silence so I quickly make my way to the table. Seeing me scoop the prepared rice into a container Yoongi pouts. "Seok-seok, no eat here.?" Both Hoseok and I look at the little in bewilderment. I open my mouth to explain, but Hoseok beats me to it.
"No, Yoonie I have to write up that report and go back to the school. Next time, maybe?" He gives me a look and takes the now packed up kimchi rice waving at us. "Bye Seokjin hyung, I promise to work hard. See you next time Yoonie. I hope you like it." The yellow package now finally makes its way to the rightful owner who grins his gummy smile.
We watch as Hoseok turns making his way to the door. The dancer has almost made his escape when Yoongi's chair scrapes against the linoleum and he runs to his side. The little plasters himself to Hoseok in an embrace. "Bye-bye, Seok-seok. Yoonie very thank you."
