Claire locked her phone before standing up

Claire locked her phone before standing up. She drew in a deep breath before exhaling shakily. For a moment, she had to talk herself into moving. Everyone was telling her that Sebastian felt the same way, so why couldn't she believe them? Maybe it was because she didn't want to be known as the actress that always dated her costars. It wasn't like she was trying to do that.

Tom was the only costar that she dated. They both really liked each other, and so they started to go out. But, with both of their filming schedules and constant traveling, they barely had time for one another. They decided to call it quits. She didn't want to end up in that boat with Sebastian. While Tom lives in London, both her and Sebastian live in New York. Granted, they were two hours away from each other. Could it work? Could they actually be together?

Unfortunately, she did have a lot of time to ponder. Her and Sebastian would be called to set in thirty minutes to film their scenes. Before Claire could allow herself to think any longer, she pushed herself towards the door. Just as she stepped outside, she saw Sebastian walking up to her trailer. He smiled when he saw her, giving her a small wave.

"Hey," He greeted as he walked up. "You weren't going anywhere were you?"

"No," Claire shook her head before giving him a shy smile. "I was actually going to find you. Want to come in before we shoot our scenes?"

Sebastian nodded, following her up the steps and into the trailer. Claire sat down on the couch, and Sebastian took a seat in the chair across from her. She bit down on her lip, silently telling herself that she could do this.

"I have something to tell you," she spoke slowly, feeling like she was about to throw up from being so nervous.

He rose an eyebrow, "You can tell me anything, you know that."

Claire nodded, clenching her fists to keep her hands from shaking, "I know. I- I like you, Sebastian. As in more than a friend. If I didn't tell you now, I probably never would and if you don't feel the same way, that's okay. This was just something I needed to get off my chest. I don't want this to ruin the friendship we have, but-"

Claire stopped her ranting as Sebastian had moved to sit down next to her. She turned to look at him, her faced red from embarrassment. He didn't say anything. Instead, he gently cupped her cheek and pressed his lips to hers. Shock overcame her for a moment before she kissed him back.

Slowly, he pulled away from her and gave her a smile, "I like you too Claire. This doesn't and won't ruin anything, okay? We'll take it slow for now, see where it takes us."

Claire nodded, "Sounds like a good idea to me."

"You know what else sounds like a good idea?" He asked, giving her a lopsided grin. Before she could answer he kissed her again.

Her heart was beating rapidly against her chest as he kissed her, and she enjoyed every small second of it. But, just like the first kiss, the second was just as short. A loud knock sounded from the door and the two instantly jumped apart.

"Hey, love birds! 15 minutes until you're on set!" The voice of Chris Evans came from the other side.

Claire groaned before getting looking at Sebastian, "After our scenes we're going to dinner."

Sebastian chuckled, "Sounds good to me, I'll pick you up at 8."
