"Oh, aunt Delilah! Uncle Sam! Thank you so much for coming!" Y/N bows respectfully as she greets her relatives and family friends. But she was only waiting to see one person come through that door.
Y/N P.O.V I heard two pairs of footsteps approaching me "Is he here yet?" Min and Ari ask in unison
I sighed "Nope..it's fine though!! I'm sure he's just caught up in traffic!" I suggest.
Ari nods slowly and gives me a half smile "Uh...yeah! I'm sure that's it Y/N!" Ari agrees, though I can hear the hesitation in her voice
"Oh please! If he's really in "traffic" then he has plenty of time to tell you that he's stuck in traffic! You and I both know that- OW!" Min suddenly exclaimed angrily when her arm was soon met by a strong fist
"Me and Min are gonna go get some champagne! Wanna come? You can text Jungkook and tell him to text you when he arrives!" Ari suggested
"Well that's not a bad idea..fine, you win-" suddenly I feel two arms wrap around my waist and a chin on my shoulder
"Sorry I'm late babe~" My lips curved upwards in relief and happiness as I recognized the cute voice.
I turn around and smiled even brighter when I saw my suspicions were correct "Jungkookie~!!" I exclaimed happily.
I intertwined both of our hands and softly placed my lips on his "Mind explaining why you're so terribly late?" I crossed my arms, pretending to be upset.
Jungkook chuckled "I was stuck in traffic, but I also took a bit too long to get dressed, I always wanna look good for my girl~" A rush of blood was sent to my ears after hearing that
"Woah, babe, you look amazing in that dress! God, I really hit the jackpot on this one..."
'Wait, what did he say?' I couldn't hear him properly as he was mumbling the last part
'I probably just heard wrong, right? Right!!' I smiled "...Thank you Kookie!.. you don't look so bad yourself!"
He grinned, melting my heart 'Oh please what am I thinking! This bunny wouldn't even think to use me!' I smiled and dragged him to one of the sofas in the living room
"Come on! Let's go guys! There's champagne and lots of dessert at the table by the sofa! Let's sit!" I said and sat down on the sofa.
With our hands intertwined, me and Jungkook sat ourselves down on the sofa, having a conversation with one of my family friends Maja "So how long have you two been together?"
