"Would you like to be famous? If so, in what way?"

Dean read the card this time, the question hanging in the air as they pondered it.

"Yes," Cas nodded. "I'd want to be a famous author."

"So that people would want to slap you for killing their favorite characters?" Dean guessed.

"No, so that I could write something that people love, a story that they'll always remember. Plus, if I'm famous, then it's more likely that my book will have a fandom, and I really want to be the start of a fandom so that I can sneak inside it and make people's ships and headcannons a reality."

"That's weird."

"It's only weird if you don't understand the fandom life."

"I have a nerdy little brother. Trust me, I understand the fandom life."

"If you say so. What about you? Wanna be famous?" Dean hesitated.

"Yes and no."

"...Elaborate please,"

"Okay, English teacher. I would want to be a famous NASCAR driver or something because it'd be fun, but I don't want the drama that goes along with being famous. I don't want people digging into my past and uncovering some dark dirty detail that they then plaster everywhere and destroy my entire life with."

"So you want the fame, just not the baggage that comes with it."

"Exactly."

"Makes sense... Why a NASCAR driver, though? Isn't that really dangerous?" Dean shrugged.

"I like cars. I like driving. Boom. NASCAR. I can't act for crap so being a movie star is out of the picture."

"What about a singer? I bet you have a good singing voice. You could cover Bob Seger." Dean snorted.

"One does not simply cover Bob Seger. The man is a legend."

"Did you just make a Lord of the Rings reference?"

"Did you just catch a Lord of the Rings reference?"

"....Nerd."

"Geek."
