A sense of deja vu washes over me as my sticky eyes peel open to see topaz eyes looking down on me.

I was still in Carlisle's car and in front of me was Charlie's house.

His police cruiser sat in the driveway with a rusty old Chevy.

I sat up from my slumped position and turned to look at Carlisle.

"Thanks for the ride and it was nice to meet you Carlisle and tell Rose thanks." I spoke, voice covered in a thick coating of sleepiness.

"You to Duchess, it was a pleasure to meet you." His honey voice rang through my ears giving me a warm feeling in my stomach.

"I'll see you around Carlisle, bye." I spoke whilst opening the door.

"Bye Duchess." He sounded sad to say bye to me and I wonder why.

I got out of the car and closed the door, as I walked towards Charlie's house, I turned and waved at Carlisle.

He waved back and started to drive back the way we came.

I stopped at the door of my fathers and raised the curled fist of the door ready to knock but instead of the wood door, it was Bella's face.

"OMG Bella I am so sorry, are you okay?" My voice laced with worry.

"I'm fine but where have you been? You were gone for a whole day." Her voice portrayed the same worry.

"I tell you later sis. Where are you going?"

"School."

"Okay, I'll come with. I tell you everything in the car."

"What are you wearing?"

"Part of the story."

We got into the Chevy which I now realize is mine and Bella's and tell her the whole story from the plane to the gorgeous Carlisle dropping me off at Charlie's.

For the rest of the ride we talked about how annoying it is to start a new school in the middle of the semester.

It turns out the school is only fifteen minutes away which is a bonus as Bella gets more sleep in the morning.

We pull up and walk into school to find the reception.
