That was it, I'd had enough...I'd had yet another disagreement with my Anne. For crying out loud I was only 23, I didn't need this.
Well like I told her earlier that night. "Anne I love you more than life itself, but I'd rather marry the first decent woman I see tonight than one you choose for me." I knew I'd gone too far but she had to be put straight or I would never get rid of her meddling. With that last statement I'd left.
******
I was worked up and didn't report at the office... I called in and was given the details over the phone.
Heading straight to the location I had been given...I entered the club and started to mix in with the crowd. it was pretty busy....after asking around I found out that there was a hen party that night.
This was just the right setting...busy crowd...lots of women. I was sure that something was going to happen.
There were four other agents there....all spread across...we knew we had to be sharp. We had to circulate, blend in, that is where I had seen her for the first time she stood out straight away. She was average height with auburn hair, she didn't look like she fit in with the crowd.
Man she was unsteady...like she'd had one too many, "gawky" that's how I'd describe her as she dropped some full glasses. Someone had approached her, he was talking to her probably been watching her just like I had... but for reasons unlike mine. She was smiling at something the man was saying.
The man thought he had a chance, she was so out of it...like she was drunk. Later I'd found out that someone had spiked even the water that had been served that night.
The man was chatting to her touching her hair. At that point I thought the man had been getting too close for my liking, I don't know what it had to do with me, but for some reason I didn't like it.
I interrupted them and was rewarded with a complaint from her.
"What the hell...I was just talking to..o... Who the hell do you think you are?"
"To whom? You didn't even know his name....
"That's none of your business you can't just come and butt in ...
"You'll thank me; if you'll just be patient ....look he didn't sweat it." He gestered....with a nod of his head in the direction of where the man had gone... Sanem looked and saw him chatting to another girl. Can signalled to one of his colleagues to keep an eye on the man. "See he's moved on... it wasn't like he was looking for keeps, just out for a good time. If I may say so you don't seem that kind to me. Are you here with anyone?"
"Oh yes and what about you why should I not assume you're out for the same thing, for your information... yes I'm here with my friends?"
"Well... your still here, if you thought the worst you'd be long gone."
"What are you a psychic?"
"Well you could say ....
She had begun to move away when he'd caught her arm. "Look you don't look stable enough to be here why I don't take you home....
"You hypocrite you accuse him of trying to take advantage and then you go and try to do the same thing...men the most despicable specimen ever created."
"So many views? What you getting over a bad relationship or is that your general opinion of men. Or could it be that you bat for the other side. That would be a waste..." he said the last part humorously.
"You sexiest pig. Now that's exactly why I think of your gender in that way."
"Now hang on there... if I remember it wasn't even ten minutes ago since you were chatting up one of my gender."
Great he had me there... this very arrogantly handsome man, had me trapped in my own words. He had the most amazing eyes... his tall stature and oh hot physique.... Waving a hand in front of her face.. to stop the thoughts...stop Sanem what the hell...she wasn't feeling herself, she was tipsy and she hadn't even had a drink. "Well ...Oh shut up that was different... he was being nice...
"Ahh... soo if I'm nice will I get the same response..." coming closer.
"Why don't you just leave me alone... you know you really should learn some manners. Not just interrupt someone in conversation....just to start your own conversation."
She had to get out of there before really embarrassing herself. Looking around she could see her friends were having a good time it would bad if she had to spoil their night just because she was not feeling up to it.
To top it off this irritating man wouldn't leave her alone. She turned away and started to walk towards the exit better to get out before anyone saw her.
As she walked he could see she was unsteady "With friends like that" he thought who would leave their friends in such a sate. Suddenly she swayed and began to fall.... luckily he caught her before she hit the ground.
"I've got you, are you Ok"
"Le...let go of me."
"Look you're in no fit state to go by yourself. How much have you drunk... if you can't handle...."
"What... I haven't had anything to drink ...I've had nothing but water all night...that's all"
Are you here with anyone...or give me a number of someone who come and pick you up and I'll call them."
"I don't live round here."
"Well goes for both of us, listen why don't we go for a walk get some air."
She had said, she hadn't had a drink... why was she acting like she was drunk? Can, wasn't feeling too good himself and all he'd had was a glass of water which he'd carried around all night.
He had to call it in but what should he do with this woman in his arms. He'd only noticed her when that man had approached her so he'd not seen her with anyone long enough to observe if she was with them.
He carried her over to the nearest chair and made a call to the office. Explaining the situation, he was told that a replacement would be sent ASAP and that he was to leave.
However he didn't mention that the girl he'd found to be drunk without consuming any alcohol (so she had said) was still in his arms. If he had... than as there was no idea of who she was, it would be likely she would spend the night at the local police station. He didn't think she would appreciate that...so what was he going to do with her?
He hadn't arranged any place for himself; once she was sorted he would have to have to look for somewhere, not wanting to spend the night in his car.
At this point she was really out of it, he tried to wake her but all she did was mumble. "I don't remember where I'm staying."
******
"There are no room's available sir." The receptionist informed him. However she recommended a place...saying there is no way they would find a room this late apart from that place.
However there was a catch. They wouldn't let anyone unmarried stay there; she told him there's an altar, where they can get married for the night.
"It's only fake...but it'll get you a place to stay." She said with a wink.
What the Hell...This was the only way he had no other choice, as time went by he wasn't feeling any better and she was now nearly totally out of it. Looks like his Anne's wish would come true tonight....

Back to present
"You nosy bitch" the man slapped her with a force that practically knocked her out, but the fear would not let her blank out. He continued slapping her "Don't worry well teach you a lesson you'll never forget, not in this lifetimes" he grossly laughed in her face.
She realised for the first time since this ordeal began that she was in deep...deep... shit and there seemed to be no way out.
