LULL OF  MY NATURE..

Head settled at the window aisle,

I stare ahead,

My tired body slumping into the hard wall,

Yet my eyes alive,

Noticing, observing even the slightest movements,

It noticed how the leaves fluttered,

The branches shivered,

As the wind blew,

And the moonlight strayed,

Falling ever so gently,

Making the branches shy away,

The leaves rustle and hide in their array,

Lest others were unmoving,

Silent as a soul,

Still as a lighting pole,

It now traces back

To the source of moonlight,

Admiring how round it looks,

How it sheds a pale yellow light,

In the midnight sky.

Though head hurts like needle pricks,

And body screams of exhaustion,

Yet as if this nature silently drinks it all in.

Soft breezes fall through the netted shield,

Reminding me of the tender touches

As my mother used to

Brush away strands of my hair,

Away from my face as I slowly dozed off,

Like a lull for me,

It relaxed my body..

Calmed my mind..

As my head drooped down..

My eyes shut slowly…
