“Hey gorgeous.” A smile automatically appeared on my face as I heard the voice, accompanied by someone hugging me from behind. He’s been doing that a lot and I’m not complaining one bit.
“Hello stranger.” He kissed me on the cheek.
“I see you’re still not finished packing.” He said.
“Blondie, I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t.” He retorted as he lay on my bed. “What’s taking you so long anyway? It’s only for three days.”
“Girls pack different things from boys.”
He stood up and inspected the things that I’m folding and placing in my backpack.
“Why on earth would you need this?” He picked up the red dress Andy gave me for my birthday and examined.
“It’s complicated.” I grabbed the dress out of his hand. “You wouldn’t understand.”
“Girls.” He snorted.
“Packing would be a lot easier if I know where we’re going.”
He sat on my bean bag chair. “We’re going to Tyler’s uncle’s cabin in the woods.”
“You should’ve told me that.”
“Why is it that you don’t know where we’re going? Weren’t you listening the night we made plans?” He asked tapping on his phone. I bet he’s playing Candy Crush right now, ever since I introduced him that game, he got addicted to it.
“I was… preoccupied.” The night of the wedding was when we made the plans for today, and my mind was obviously somewhere else that time. I was busying thinking of Mason and his mum.
He must’ve remembered what happened that night because he didn’t say anything.
“No!” he exclaimed. “I have no life left!”
“I never should’ve introduced that game to you.” I shook my head.
“Hurry up Blondie; we need to get going in 30 minutes.”
“You’re free to help.” I said.
“Nah, I’m cool just watching you.” He shrugged.
I continued to pack my clothes but I couldn’t concentrate because I know that he’s staring at me.
“Stop.” I stated.
“What? I’m not doing anything.” He defended.
“I’m getting creep out with you watching me.”
He exhaled and stood up. “Fine.”
He went to my dresser and sifted through it looking for something. I wonder what he’s looking for. I ignored him and continued to pack my stuff.
“What about now? Still getting creep out?” He asked and when I looked up he’s wearing my sunglasses. He’s making ridiculous poses in front of my mirror.
“What?” he mimicked the minion’s voice.
I laughed at him, I excused myself to the bathroom and when I came back the remaining clothes on the bed has already been packed into my bag.
“You finished packing for me? That fast?” I asked in disbelief. I’ve only been in the bathroom for like a minute or two.
“Eh, what can I say? I’ve got talent.” He shrugged.
