Sooga village felt strangely odd. Usually people would be talking to each other and walking around the village, but currently there weren't any people around. Not that peace was always here in Sooga anyway. Garu just felt uncomfortable with the peculiar atmosphere. His gut told him that something bad was going on.
Even if all of them were at the Goh-Rong restaurant, some of them would simply call the restaurant's phone number and Pucca would deliver their food to them. But Garu couldn't feel the heavenly presence of the goddess disguised as a delivery girl. As his bad feeling got stronger, he stopped walking and instead ran towards the Goh-Rong restaurant.
The sight in front of him almost brought him to his knees.
There, the crimson-painted restaurant was scorching up with furious flames. The violent fires were consuming the entire building, slowly yet fiercely turning the bricks to ash.
The people of Sooga continued watching the horrific sight displayed in front of them, and without hesitation, Garu ran towards the restaurant and approached the closest people he could find. Ching and Abyo had their worried eyes focused on the restaurant that was being devoured by merciless, powerful flames.
Are you two okay? Garu signed at them. Where's Pucca?
Ching began to cry out loud. "She and Jae-geun-xiansheng are trapped inside! They can't get out!"
Garu began to panic. Of course he knew that Pucca wasn't going to go down so easily. She was Brise, a being too powerful that not even the strongest flames could take her down.
But no matter how strong a person could be, the possibility of death would always be there. And what about her father? Jae-geun was a strong man, but if the both of them were trapped in there, then Death would be ready to grab them instantly!
Deciding not to hesitate any longer, Garu continued to run towards the restaurant, deciding to fight off the flames if they ever got in his way. But before he could do anything, one of the firemen got in his way, and lightly pushed him back.
What are you doing? Garu signed, an irritated expression forming around his face. Why are you stopping me?
"It's too dangerous to move, Garu-kun." The fireman said. "Leave the work to us."
How long has this fire been going on?
"Five minutes, Garu-kun."
Five minutes?! Then that means the fire has consumed the entire restaurant! Are there firemen or rescuers inside?
"Yes. They are currently getting Pucca-chan and Jae-geun-san out of whatever they're trapped in."
If she and her father are not out of the restaurant in one minute, I'm jumping inside. Do not try to stop me.
It was good that her uncles were safe and sound, as well as her cat Yani. Once one minute passes while Pucca and Jae-geun are still not out, Garu will let Abyo and Ching take care of Mio, then he himself will jump over the fireman (who was standing in front of the restaurant, guarding it), open the door to the restaurant, and do what he could to free Pucca and Jae-geun.
According to the firemen, the fire started in the kitchen. That meant that it must've taken place while the chefs were cooking Jjajang noodles for the customers. Or maybe their clumsy janitor Dada did something wrong again.
Garu's eyes were focused on his watch. One minute is equivalent to sixty seconds. It was 6:45 AM. Once it hits 6:46 AM, Garu will proceed with his plan and break inside the flaming restaurant. There were sixty seconds left before Garu could break inside.
