"I WAS WAITING for you to get here when the doorbell rang. I thought it was you so I open the door and it was Matt." Elisia told me the story of what happened. "Matt started being a douche and flirting. I think he was drunk, or high. One of the two. He picked me up and slung me over his shoulder and carried me into my little brother's room, he tried to make me take off my clothes. When I wouldn't do it, he forced my pants off. I didn't know what to do so I ran into the kitchen. He chased me and I wasn't thinking and I-I killed him." She says, hugging her knees tighter.
"So it was self defense." I stated and Elisia shrugged then nodded. Honestly I was relieved, not relieved that Matt was dead, just relieved that Elisia hadn't planned to murder him.
"We need to at least call the cops, they'll understand that it was self defense. Matt's always getting himself into these kind of situations." I suggested but Elisia immediately got defensive and shook her head.
"I don't have a good history with the cops. They'll immediately think I did this on purpose." Elisia says, I didn't want to pry but I was curious. I made my decision to let her calm down before I asked her what she meant.
"Cole...We need to hide him. I need you to help me." Elisia says. Suddenly she wasn't upset anymore.
"No way. I am not hiding a body of one of our classmates." I held my hands up to protest but Elisia grabbed my right hand and enlaced our fingers. She gave me puppy dog eyes. How was I to say no? I let out a long exasperated sigh.
"Fine, but nobody is to know about this. This night never happened." I mumbled, I wasn't thinking straight at the time, and now I wish I hadn't of been so stupid and falling in love with a criminal...
