“Rex!” I shouted to the clone speaking to his squad.
“Yes Commander!” He said, standing at attention.
“Round up your squad and meet me in the cruiser’s hanger.”
“Yes, sir!” He responded. “Move out!” He instructed the other clone who were standing at attention.
Ever since the mission to bring back Ahsoka and every mission after, all the clones have had a special respect for me. Even Rex regarded me in a higher ranking than him, and he says ‘experience outranks everything’.
“Master, my squad is meeting us in the hanger.” I said.
“As is mine, what squad are you commanding?” He asked.
“Rex’s,” He looked at me.
“That’s Anakin’s squadron.”
“I know. I was hoping to join with Ahsoka and Anakin on this mission.” He sighed.
“You’re my Padawan, Andora.”
“Are you afraid you can’t handle yourself, Master?” Anakin retorted as he and Ahsoka joined us.
“Anakin,” Master scolded.
“How about Andora and I take Rex’s squadron and you two take Cody’s?” Ahsoka recommended.
Master Kenobi rubbed his beard. “We need to discuss the plan first.”
Anakin and Obi-Wan started to walk onto the Cruiser. “What is this mission even about?” I whispered to Ahsoka.
“Apparently, Republic intelligence discovered a coded message from Count Dooku to General Grievous that the Separatists were planning on attacking the cloning stations on Kamino.”
I gasped suddenly. “That’s our only supply of troops! If they can take over the cloning facilities, we will lose the war.” She nodded gravely.
“We need to get moving.” With that, we both sprinted onto the Cruiser and headed off to the Hanger to join Master Kenobi and Master Skywalker.
