"Get out of my face Elgin. You have no right to ask me anything! You don't care what I'm doing any other time so why do you care now?" I asked tossing his keys on the counter.

"You cheating on me?" He asked as he leaned against the railing in the hall. "Umm.. I don't know? Are you cheating on me?" I replied. "I asked you first Jade." his face was stale and he was gritting his teeth, I could see his jaw clenching.

"If you must know, Yes, I'm cheating on you nigga. I've been giving my pussy to every Joel, Devanté, Dalvin, and Cedric and that looks my way. But it's no big deal. We're even, I know all about Aaliyah so miss me with the bullshit." I yelled. I lied about cheating on him.. I was just trying to see how he'd react.

I had never cheated on Elgin, well not counting that kiss today with Aaliyah, I don't even know if that counted honestly. He may be a piece of shit, but I really truly did love him. He shook his head in disappointment, and turned to walk into our bedroom, making sure to push me forcefully out of his way.

I had to hold on to the banister to keep from toppling over. His body was all over the place, and I still wasn't used to the height difference yet. It was making me so clumsy.

" Don't put your hands on me, with your cheating self! I should beat your yellow ass. "You're lucky I'm not myself right now Elgin. I can't wait til we switch bodies again." I yelled as I pushed him back.

I wanted to punch him in the face so bad, but I would be punching myself. This shit was too weird. He'd feel it, but I'd be the one that was black & blue. And to make it worse I was a nigga at the moment, I couldn't put my hands on a female. Even though Elgin technically already acted like one with his bitch ass.

He chuckled darkly, shaking his head as he stood in front of me with his arms crossed. He grabbed my face, digging his stiletto nails into my cheeks. Niggas don't be lying when they say that shit hurts. I felt like he drew blood. Now I know why he hated when I poked my nails in his face when we were playing around.

"You think you're so tough now, coming at me all crazy and reckless. It's like you grew balls overnight. Oh HA..wait... you did. Just cause you got balls at the moment don't mean you got balls Jade. Remember that shit."

He started to walk away and I reacted impulsively slapping him across the face. I had hit Elgin harder than I had meant to. The slap echoed through the hall, and my hand stung from the impact. His mouth dropped open as he stood there stunned. So did mine. I covered my mouth with my hands. I was thinking about doing it, but I didn't really mean to.

"Ohmahgosh baby, I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean it
Elgin."

His eye was starting to get puffy and the imprint of my hand was etched on his cheek. A small sob escaped my throat, I was a woman beater. I was known to partake in a fight now and again but I was myself then. Elgin hated when I would fight because he claimed I was too cute to be stomping hoes out.

The anger behind Elgin's eyes was something I had never seen before, but I could tell he wanted to beat my ass. He had never hit me before, but if I stayed any longer, I'm sure he would have.

"Jade you need to find somewhere else to sleep tonight, cause' if you come near me right now, imma fuck you up."

"I said I was sorry baby." I placed kisses on his face and he turned his face stubbornly. I gave him a sad smile as I felt the tears welling up in the back of my eyes. I turned around and made my way down the steps, grabbing the keys to the Benz. Pulling out Elgin's phone from my jeans, I chose the second number on speed dial under mine. She picked up on the second ring. "Hello?"
